Well that depends on how bad and what kind of bad.
If it's the usual garden variety kind of bad then I can usually ignore it, though I would probably still rather look at an army that was just sprayed white.
If it's horrifyingly offensively bad hen that's of course a very different situation. If it's a badly painted Forge World army then that's just the worst though.

Hoard armies can look lazy, it's fine to do basic schemes. most important is armour and clothes, basecoat, wash, and a minor layer is fine for everything
