Do people think stuff around level 5-6 is really a problem with multiclassing?
I thought it was the low-hanging fruit like fighter 2-3, warlock 2-3, paladin 2, etc. that people were annoyed with.

that's because the guidelines laid out in the book are retarded from both a narrative and balance standpoint.
Any word on when will the trove be updated with the new adventurer's league content? I'm a third world poor fag with no credit card for dmsguild.
Multiclassing stops being a concern around 7ish when it starts to be a serious commitment. I mean they just tacked on heavy restrictions on the smite invocation with the 5 lock req, lock slots only, and one per turn. They did all this despite a multiclassing Pala-lock does it better, more often and harder. They seem terrified to give them more melee options honestly.
PermaDM here. I don't like +1/2/3 armors or shields, and I don't like stuff like bracers of defense. When player AC gets really too high, it limits the CR of creatures that can be threatening in combat.
I'm thinking about making +1 shields reduce damage you take by 1 instead of giving 1 more AC. Any other items that give +1 AC give +1 HP per level instead.
Is this a decent idea compared to replacing those items in randomly rolled treasure?
> rolling for stats
Your opinion is already invalid.
From a purely mechanical perspective, what are the benefits of playing a dwarf martial instead of a half-orc?
+2 weapon is gone with the new UA.
Level 12 and you still haven't encounter stuff that can dispel, counterspell, true seeing, daylight?????
Not really because instead of not taking damage you're just giving them 1hp.
Better con. Resistance on the most common damage type.
