yah, ill be taking one of my unpainted armies (khorne bloodbound mortals) with me to tie me over until i can get my hands on shadowspire. After the Duke had supped upon it had however been cursed by Ushoran who had tainted the Grail with his blood as a jest. Now the Duke and his noble army is on his long journey back home through the realm of Death to bring back home to his realm the blessing which he received.

I will be using Mantic ghouls kitbashed with Fire Forge historical Templars to give them that Men at Arms look. There will also be a lot of greenstuffing involved to dress the Ghoul Kings and his noblemen in tatters of Bretonnian finery.

It would be nice if you got a tripcode so that people could just filter out your asinine excuse for shitposting.

I once had an idea to make a marauder army that can trace it's roots back to a few noblemen who survived the transition from the old world to the current clusterfuck. Though many traditions have been either lost or twisted over the millenia. And at that point I'm not yet sure what I want to make of them.

Which is why I wanted to highlight it more. I'm thinking of having horse remains and pieces of the knightly gear tied to the horrors to indicate that they used to be knights.

I'm not sure what to go with for allies, though. I originally wanted some spooky ghosts to go with them, but that seems off limit in the new General's Handbook.

On that note, is anyone else annoyed how Fyreslayers can only really be allies for Dwarf armies? They are supposed to be mercenaries, it would be fluffy is any order army could use them as allies.

It's pretty easy to make out that the first entry is Collegiate Arcane.
But with the Celestial Hurricanum going up to 380 you wont be able to bring in anything else via allies, assuming the Free Peoples allegiance abilities are worth it. Will be tricky for battleplans that require heroes. Although the general on griffon has gone down a bit.

You can take up to 20% of your total points as allies without losing your specific allegiance abilities. The combination of allies you pick is irrelevant.

Alot of the people I've spoken too around the AoS28 community all seem to have qualifications or a formal training in fine art.

The guys from Iron sleet all have degrees or MA's in painting/art.pretty sure the chap that runs ex profundis has a degree of more in art.
The ones that don't all seem to also be mates with or work with the GW design team or have done at some point.
And then there's John Blanche, Sat in the middle of it all like the great horned rat of red ink.

It makes sense really, It's a hobby that allows people to use an already developed skill set recreationally whilst developing and maintaining their technique, keeping their knowledge of formal practice strong through constant use, All without directly overlapping into their professional practice.
