Also we can talk about tea recommendations. I picked up some celestial dirty chai on an user's recommendation a few weeks back and that tastes great

Edy's Slow Churned

Anything with cinnamon

generic vanilla, real, not veg fat

I like ice cream with lots of additives which prevent it from melting quickly.

I hate 'natural' ice cream, because it turns into a milkshake almost immediately.

have you ever made your own ice cream? I don't remember that being the case. Could just be the type you tried

>pic related
>haagen dazs green tea ice cream
>Ben and Jerry's strawberry cheese cake

three twins organic. lemon cookie is GOAT

>not getting Ben and Jerrys

Kill yourselves

I get ben and jerrys strawberry cheese cake you literal retard

Peasant.

Usually Haagen Daz chocolate or mint chocolate chip. I've learned that ice cream isn't something you can cheap out on, it's worth the extra buck to avoid a icy and gummy monstrosity.

I'll get that if they have Phish Food or Karmel Sutra (which they never do). It causes me to pay that much for a small quantity of alright-tier ice cream though.

Chunky Munkey. Can never get enough banana ice cream

I bought Haagn Dazs ginger molasses today and it's pretty great. Vanilla and cinnamon is a god-tier combination.

Any brand without this logo.

Blue Bunny

i like talenti gelato, they have interesting flavors and their plain flavors are better than most competition.
i like ben and jerrys for cake batter and cinnamon bun though.

>Ben and Jerrys

>BUYING ICE CREAM THAT HAS THICKENERS APART FROM EGGS, ANY YEAR

Even plain vanilla from B&J has guar gum, carrageenan, and they use liquid sugar which has water and dilutes it more. The liquid sugar is probably why they add more thickeners.

A few varieties of Haagen-Dazs have thickeners too, but their vanilla/coffee/peanut butter chocolate are just basically egg, milk, cream, sugar, and flavoring.

Ice cream with thickeners like guar gum and carrageenan have a grittier, less creamy texture.

The Safeway/Vons brand.

Usually have deals where you 2 pints for 1.

Ben and Jerry's cores
or Tillamook

Ben & Jerry's is owned by Unilever or some shit now so it's corporate-cost cutting bullshit ingredients now.

naturally I get ben and jerries

every week I try and pick out whatever flavour I haven't had in a long time

Breyer's or Blue Bell is a pretty good quality to cost ration, cheaper than Ben and Jerry's to be sure.

Getting any flavor that isn't mint chocolate chip is heresy.

I dont eat much ice cream so i usually go for talenti when i do. Mint and Pistachio are GOAT

Used to eat a shit load of Haagen Daz Carmel Cone

oh god that pistachio talenti is FUCKING amazing.

I also really like their oatmeal cookie flavor.

might I suggest Breyer's Rocky Road? top tier rocky road and uses candied almonds instead of shitty peanuts.

blue bell does a good job but im not sure if they are back since the listeria thing.

This one. Unironically the best ice cream I've ever had outside of a whippy machine.

Cheap as shit as well.

cookies and cream

The Publix brand ice cream is actually some of the best I've tried.
I started buying it when Blue Bell was taken off the shelves, and I haven't had a reason to switch back yet.

>brand
Just buy a Kitchenaid and the ice cream maker bowl.

Only the best and only available in the the 563

>expecting people here to waste time cooking

I'm laffin

I think they're back, there were coupons for their brand in the newspaper this week

Breyers blasts reeses flavored, thank me later.

ended up going with tillamook this week

sorry guys, I can't justify spending 6 bucks on 28 fluid ounces of ice cream for haagen dazs quite yet
everything else wasn't posted about, some very expensive organic local stuff and a few other ones I hadn't seen before
I'll give it a shot next week though in a small amount

I make my own. It's ridiculously easy and it's better than most of the shit you buy at the supermarket.

Made malted beer ice cream a while back. Did a basic sweet cream custard added a beer reduction and malt powder. Was fucking good. Also did a root beer ice cream that I made root beer floats with.

I literally use Ben and Jerry's recipe to make my own. Mine's better.

Costco's Vanilla Ice Cream.

Sure, it's only vanilla, but it is amazing and can be used on so many things.

Also, fuck you for making this thread and making me crave this shit. My thyroid shit itself and i'm gaining weight!

What equipment do you use?

we have 3 ice cream brands in brazil
all of them sell the exact same shitass flavors

aeeeHOOOOOOO

Haagen Daz's white chocolate raspberry truffle is shockingly addictive.

used to be blue bell... I miss it... T_T

Lucerne Ice Cream from Safeway is top-notch, especially the Christmas ones.

I made some Chai flavored ice cream at home with fresh vanilla bean and tea concentrate. I'm surprised vendors aren't marketing it as a commercial flavor.

It might just be me (and I don't mean to bash the US) but I think varying brands is totally an American thing. Once on a school trip in Norway I went to a grocery store the size of a Starbucks. They had like two brands of ice cream with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry each. Made me realize just how enormous grocery stores in the US are.

Fuck yeah Tillamook

The only true patrician brand, and the only anything worth getting at Whole Foods

I'm trying to figure out the pun or reference in "Mocha Difference" but I can't.

no idea - they're not very clever but they make really good ice cream

It's brown, brown people are different, and we should all mock a difference when we see it.

...

"make a difference"

americone dream

There is no competition

except for the cardamom, their flavors seems highly uninspired

Tillamook or Umpqua.

Muh mutherfuckin nigga

maybe you should try eating them

Buy local corporate whore . Buy half of what you would get at the supermarket for the same price. It will be 4 times better.

>not posting the best flavor aka lemon cookie

names aren't pretentious enough for you?

That's because America is a freedom loving country, the freedom to have as many options possible as you want. It's great and one of the many reasons I never want to leave this wonderful country.

tru desu, just picked the first picture I saw

this

I am addicted to the sea-salt caramel flavor.. This shit is sooo creamy. Truly a god tier ice cream company.

Fuuuck i can't buy that cause i'll literally finish it all up in one sitting.

Halo ice cream. It's 240 calories a pint and it tastes good

>tfw no Blue Bell King Cake this year cause of the recall

I don't even like coffee, but mocha is one of my favourite flavours in everything.

>artificial flavors

yeah nah ew

Where the fuck do I get some good ass rocky road?
I've never tasted one as good as the one my mom used to buy, it was creamy and the chocolate wasnt cheap with chunks of pecans and fluffy marshmallows

It wasnt some big name brand either

Fuck, I knew about Arctic Zero but not Halo. So glad you posted this. Are there some flavors that taste better than other, like less-diet tasting?

Its mostly my girlfriend that eats em. They have birthday cake, lemon, vanilla bean and chocolate.. Honestly the only ones I've tried were lemon and birthday cake and I thought they were decent. I'm not a health freak like her but they seem expensive at $5.50 a pint

Yeah, Arctic Zero is not much better at $5/pint, but those companies know the hardcore low-calorie chasers will buy it. It's good to hear a non-health freak thinks Halo is decent, though - Arctic Zero can only be tolerated by those who are used to diet drinks and Splenda. I think I will get some later today.

Alaska Supreme Fireweed and Honey Ice Cream is literally my most favourite ice cream in the world. Nothing can it.

Aldi Specially Selected Chocolate or Vanilla, really custardy and dense and cheap and no gums or stabilizers other than eggs.

muslimconsumergroup.com/category_search_result.php?t=I&p=0

Everything that is halal, especially amurikan Haagen Daz

Just bought some Halo Top chocolate and lemon cake. I like the chocolate a lot.

I usually get Aldi's Belmont stuff. Peach cobbler is great but I think it's seasonal. The "crust" pieces of brown sugar are a bit excessive though

i stick my carton of ice-cream in the oven on 150 for 5-10 minutes to make it melt faster

sounds like you actually like iced cream

not ice cream

I don't know why, but I like boxed, generic ice cream.

>hating artificial flavors
beavers ass tastes literally better than the real bean bruh

nigga Aldi dairy is so cheap even the heavy cream has water added and is thickened with some guar and carreegan

>Buy icecream
>Stare at it every day
>Never eat it
This has been going on for 6 months.
Help.

just do what I do and go on a binge

You gotta get those 5 qt pails...

I know that feel, bruh.

Even before the recall, the Banana Pudding flavor was somehow considered a seasonal flavor. It's hands down the best ice cream I've ever had. How can non-Texans compete?

I still hope and pray that they'll bring it back eventually.

King's Cake was pretty dank, though.

Master race.

I tead the ingredients and theres always skim milk. Is that necessary? Wouldnt full fat milk taste better?

No reason to spend more. Ice cream is pig food so it doesn't matter when you are a pig

Skimmed milk is cheaper.

Ben and Jerry's or Blue Bell. Although I usually don't get ice cream because I have no self control and will eat it pretty quick

I go berry picking once a year, get a gallon of blueberries and blackberries, and then borrow my buddy's ice cream maker to make my own. It turns out so damn good.

Skim has more sugar in it, though.

It's lactose sugar. The body treats it like a carbohydrate, basically, or can't break it down at all.

>overpriced hippie shit
no thanks

Cookie Dough is great but it's the most fucking expensive shit ever for what you get.

skimmed milk is animal fat removed and veg fat added
