Lets start a frites thread and post how your country names the frites.

Tater tots are objectively the best potatoe product.

you mean subjectively.
Because Kartoffelpuffer are damn fine too.
That makes Tatre tots at least not number one of potato products.

1: UK

2: Anti-clockwise from the top left:
>french fries/McDonalds chips
>chips
>curly fries
>wrinkled chips (?)
>I don't think we have those
>sauteed potatoes

That makes sense. But for me gives McD too much credit.

Where the hell do you get 'waffle fries'? I've never seen them in my life

Honorable mention to the Croquette Potato.

>the fuck is that
Lol

Its not about creativity, if it sounds good or describe it perfectly. I think than its ok.
Thought this thread to be just a frites collection and maybe hear whar other calls them.

>High 5 ucranian foodbro

Wut?

> not be included
Yes they are like our german bratkartoffel.
But i think its because of the wedges.

And wedges are good, with some sour cream, its delicious.

Oh you call that hashbrowns?

So the thicknes defines if its called fries or chips?

As far as I can tell the thickness does affect it.

What we know as a chip is the thick kind you might call steak fries. It's not a strict rule as often the word chip is use synonymously with french fries or wedges.

So yes and no.

those aren't hash browns, dumbass

1)estonia
2)
>fries
>fries
>curly fries
>fries
>????
right
>oven potato
>fries
>sweetpotato fries
>fried potato

Wanna know why? Because we don't shove unhealthy shit down our throats every fucking day. Most of the diet consists of home made meals like pastas, salads, roasts, soups and casseroles

Poland here and I agree with those two brothers

Oh, ok, good to know its a not strict rule that is enforced like an autist would do.

>casserolls, pasta
>healthy
Wut?
That can be made unhealthy as fast food.
I saw some east european food that was pure fat and just looking at it gave me hearth attack.

I agree everyday fast food is bad, but selfmade can be healthy or just as deadly as fastfood.

>anti-clockwise

>crazy frites

Yeah, the original name is better.
But some german company who "imported" it, called it so.
Since than, its mostly known as crazy frites.
