Be honest. As an adult (18+) have you ever purchased a kids meal for the toy? Which one was it? Did you lie and say it was for a child?

I would but the toys suck. MemeDonalds has stuffed emoji faces right now.

What the fuck ever happened to nugget buddies.

Nugget buddies were my shit, fuck an emoji.

If there was one I'd want, I'd just ask for it. Not including those Burger King Xbox 360 games (sneak king, pocket bike racing, some other one), it was this guy right here. The ones where you have to collect them all are the best.

Yes, MLP crap
I just made my order and ate inside, why would I care what random McDonalds employees thought of me? Beside's I've worked similar jobs, customers mean nothing to you

Also posting best Happy Meal...the box artwork was better than the toys, but even then the toys actually transformed so that's amazing compared to recent TF promotions

Just don't be weird about it, they don't give a fuck.
>also, can I get one of the kids toys, the purple pony one

>MemeDonalds has stuffed emoji faces right now
please be bullshiting.

I've never actually do so.

>tfw your parents never bought you a happy meal

The Burger King toys for the Pokemon Movie. I still have those "gold plated" cards.

I don't know if this still holds true to day, but when I was a kid in the early 2000s, I learned that you can just order the toys directly in McDonald's.

I saw an old man at a McDonald's go up to the front counter, and request a Happy Meal toy order form from the cashier.

they never did

Neopets started a huge craze

No, i just purchase the toy. Like i wanted a set of horse toys a few years ago so i purchased the toy each week. Why lie? Its nothing to be embarrassed about

no, because you can just buy the toy.

Most people lie because they're afraid of being judged.

And to be honest, you're right. It's totally nothing to be embarrassed about.

When I was a minimum-wage retail monkey, I've seen people buy weird shit all the time. I definitely recognize some of my customers' weird choices, but I didn't give a shit.
>a teenaged boy, about 14 to 16, buying High School Musical stuff, who kept telling me it was for his little brother
Don't care.
>an old man, easily 65+, buying a whole bunch of anime DVDs, because his college-aged son "really likes that anime stuff"
This guy was actually probably telling the truth, but still, don't care.
>a guy in his 30s looking at remote-controlled helicopters with a shifty gaze, while shouting "IT'S FOR MY NEPHEW"
Don't care.

Had I worked in fast food instead of retail, I would probably have cared equally, ie. little to none. If I'm making minimum wage, chances are I don't give a fuck about anything.

>th-these Pony figurines aren't for me! They're for my daughter!
Don't care. As long as you aren't being difficult and have the money, you can do whatever the hell you want.

Sometimes when I'm traveling somewhere, after 5+ hours of driving I'll order a toy along with whatever fast food I get at the drive-through. I just ask for it along with my food. I don't think I've ever gotten a second glance, nobody cares.

My favorite is when McDonalds has Pokemon cards. I think I missed their last promotion, though, I don't do this often.

>MemeDonalds has stuffed emoji faces right now.
brb going to maccas

I've got a some of the Sonic electric games they had a bunch of years ago. I didn't lie, I just bought Happy Meals and let them come to their own conclusions.

The batteries in the games have since died, and they didn't design them to be easily replaced. A bit moronic.

They were actually plated with shitty gold. Didn't that promotion end when some dumbass kid suffocated himself by covering his nose and mouth with one of the Poké Balls?

Are you saying that Neopets popularized Happy Meals? Because that's wrong.

On point, the judgement (if any) carries no weight.

Another good point.

If customers won't even listen to my actual good advice, why should they care about a complete stranger's opinion?

My 2nd/3rd grade teacher (we had a joint class for those. Grades got slightly different assignments occasionally) ordered all 101 Happy Meal Dalmations from McD's when the live action remake came out. Lined them up along a couple walls in our classroom. I had a crush on her. Didn't know how sex worked, so, I imagined us stuck face-to-face, kissing inside of her tight sweaters.

Manta man is still a boss.

What the fuck, man.

...

Haha cool. Qnyone else excited for the emoji movie?

McDs is the only one that still advertizes kids meals

I know BK HAS them but I never know what they are cause they dont have commercials anymore

Taco Bell and Wendys havent in a long time I think

That one was my favorite as a kid. I still have these Transmetal ones, can't find any of the originals though

>imdb.com/title/tt4877122/
>It's real

Crappy robot modes lol, but some of the detail is nice for McFigs and still better than Transformers that don't transform

when MCD was giving beanie babies. lots of ppl bought them for the toy.

I still have my old completed Inspector Gadget. I ate too much McDonald's as a kid for all the parts to just up and get rid of it.

I remember it being a huge craze at my school when Burger King had Pokemon toys, too.

Japanese video game and toy companies left a ridiculous amount of money on the table in the 90s and early 2000s by not licensing their characters. Everybody I knew wanted a Mario or Sonic something outside of the actual games in elementary school. They only sort of started fixing it when Pokemon blew up

There was a Sonic Happy Meal in the 90s as well as a Mario one

But yeah in general I agree, I always wanted Sonic action figures ....I used to even play with a collectible gum container because it was shaped like Sonic

Burger King did it better

...

Yes I actually bought one for those toys pictured. Was hoping for Yoshi but got Mario. I gave it to my cat.

Yeah, got some transformer and pokemon toys

Found "Rhino" deep in a bin

No beast head ;(

What a lame toy

Are you NEET?

A plain hamburger? Really?
