What country has genuinely bad cuisine? I always hear how French, Mexican, Italian, whatever cuisine is great but I want to know what is the one place where food truly sucks.

britain

britain

Britain

MURRICA!

Thailand.

All the food tastes like wet dog.

>boat noodles

that is all. and fuck off

America's too big and too full of immigrants to have shitty food

probably argentine. I mean its not bad, but just medicore. steak empanadas and crappy italian food along with chorizo sandwiches for the rest of your life seems horrible

Chicago
Apparently a quiche is the same thing as a pizza to them

I could honestly eat beef and chimmichurri every day. But I'm a pleb.

Thai curry >>> Indian curry

Can't we love both?

mongolia. i don't think they know what a vegetable is.

Australia

Vegetables are for farmcucks. Mongolians have historically been too busy pushing the world's shit in for millennia to have time to waste farming.

Im gonna go ahead and say.... Canada.

you people are fucking dumbasses

The people with the worst cuisine is russia; source? even the people who genuinely like russian cuisine all acknowledge openly that it's awful.

just because something is simple doesn't mean it's bad cuisine. definately a shitty way of life though. add some vegetables to your diet sure, but campfire cooking will never be "bad" food unless you purposefully fuck up.

.t buttmad brit

I consider true Mexican food to be one of the worlds most terrible.

Everything is pulped down to a mush served with tasteless flat bread.
Choice of hot goo or slightly chilled goo

blegh

meh we are the meat country, stealing a cow was legal for most of our countrys history as long as you gave the hide back.
When you have that kind of access to meat why the fuck would you bother with anything else?
We now know that eating nothing but asado kills you and bifes de chorizo no longer weight close to two pounds, still i can eat quality meat for every meal if i want to for dirt cheap

...

>Everything is pulped down to a mush served with tasteless flat bread.

This is Indian food as well. Fucking terrible.

Confirm for Americans who have never eaten British food, never mind even been there or travelled out of their state.

The worst has to be Eastern European, followed by Scandinavia and Germany.

Japan follows next.

Meme thread then.

>I had 2 tacos and am now an expert on Mexican food

All these flavours and you burgers choose salty, ot spray cheese.

>This is Indian food as well.
maybe the pictures you see where people say all indian food looks like diarrhea, but no, that's a very small portion of what indian food really is.

you shouldn't assume you know everything because you spent 5 minutes reading about it on the internet.

I've had both real Indian and Mexican, they're both delicious and widely varied.

nice b8

There is no such thing as bad cuisine. All cuisine comes from whatever the conditions of a place were plus time. Food never came easy for anyone in the world until perhaps in the last 20 years.

There's a reason why things are the way they are, finding it distasteful or disgusting is a matter of where you grew up and ate when you were younger.

You've never tried britbong food, have you?

beans on dry stale bread is their number one food.
tea is the only thing they really have but tea is pretty universal.

no he's right...

If you visit middle mexico in the little shit villas no one cares about all the food is atrocious.

The only food that's worth anything in the country is some of the city street food that has emerged in the last couple decades - and really that was all influenced by other cultures.

Fat dorito taco eating stoner detected

Kebap doesn't count as British food and is a shit street vendor food on par with a decent ball park brat to begin with.

Just because an entire generation of mothers and grandmothers learned to cook on leftover WW2 rations is no excuse for how bad British cooking still is.

American here. I actually like English cuisine, pasties, pies, and such. I also like tea a lot. There's a place near where I used to live that had a nice selection of teas and made killer Yorkshire pudding.

I've had some really strange Korean food in my life that I wasn't too crazy about. I love kimchi though.

Even Russian I've had some decent meals: pickles, cabbage, roasted chicken, and vodka so cold it was starting to become viscous.

I dunno, I love most food. I'm taking my out for Lebanese tomorrow for Mother's Day. Lebanese is probably my very favorite.

> implying Britain is so homogenous to attribute pleb food to the entire country

Scandinavia

doesn't matter which country

Filipino. Everything they have is a bastardization of something else

...

No . Ive been to Mexico many times actually and Ive loved Mexico City, Puebla and Baja.Puebla alone is better than anything Ive tried in south america (outside of peru), so his argument is invalid

Authentic Puebla tacos are the shit

have you ever had Ecuadorian? It's not outstanding exactly, but it's really good in my opinion.

...

Seconded

bland

I have been to Ecuador a couple times actually. Tried "cuy" (which was okay), hornado, fritada, ceviche (ketchup in ceviche, yikes), llampingachos , empanadas (weakness of mine), papas con cuero, blood sausage, fanesca (once is good for me), ecebollado, and of course, my fav guatita, I can say it is very good and underrated , and I haven't tried much regional cuisine from the coast, but I will make it my next mission when I head over there. I love the exotic fruits too.

I had mostly stews when I was there, like seco de gallina. The one time I tried ceviche, it didn't have ketchup.

And yeah I had fresh pineapple that tasted so fucking good.

I hear a cuisine faux pas a lot of Ecuadorians do is put two starches on the dish, like potatoes and rice.

I'm curious about one thing though, I had a meal that was delicious but one thing almost ruined it, there was something in the dish that was awful and had a really bad aftertaste, I think it was a thing that looked like an onion. But didn't taste like any onion I've ever had.

Ethiopian because they don't eat anything

still better than being haitian and paying to buy dirt to make dirt cookies to sell at the market

I hear Ethiopian food is actually really good

And if I'm not mistaken, most Ethiopians aren't the starvin marvin type, that was just Trey Parker and Matt Stone being retards

Kazakh and pretty much all Central Asian dishes are bland as fuck. It's like they weren't situated on an ancient trade route to have access to exotic spices..

What the fuck did you say faggot?

It's pretty based, but this is coming from a half Ethiopian. It can be a bit heavy for the foreign stomach.

that really does look bland

and it looks like it would get stuck between my teeth

What's your other half?

I think Ethiopian chicks are hot too, one time I saw two chicks walking and they looked Ethiopian and were speaking what I thought was Amharic, I shouted "I love Ethiopian chicks" and she came over and gave me a high five, I thought that was cool.

Horse is delicious, but yea, that turkic palate.. It seems like all they use is salt, pepper and dill for their foods.

Russian cuisine is basically one step above cattle food.

Next time say, "Yene Mar, wedejshalew" kek. She'll piss herself laughing. But yea, Ethiopian girls are comfy tier if you don't mind cuddling with a sack of bones.

The other half is Mexican.

That's an interesting ass mix, what do you look like?

I would say that, but there's no way I'll remember that and I think you're tricking me into getting slapped, lol.

One of the chicks looked skinny as fuck and the other was more average proportions wise. I don't mind skinny but I need at least somewhat of an ass.

I've enjoyed Russian food. I enjoy how meat focused it is and the cream they use. Filipino food can go fuck itself though.

also, that looks good, minus the trypophobia inducing bread

damn nigga, I bet you look hella handsome

I'd have to say Cambodia. The food is like a shit-tier amalgamation of Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese.

Ive been told I look like Obama. Posted my face on /sp/ once and I'm kinda scared to do it again.

Yea the bread is what trips up most foreigners and they usually have problems digesting it. But once you learn how to use and manage it, it's pretty fuggin good.

It's actually hard to digest? What makes it different in that regard from normal bread?

You don't have to post your face, I was just curious. What is your hair like? Which parent is which?

>tfw when I first had it I made the mistake of loading up on too much bread and getting full too early

The batter ferments in dirty corners of dirty huts for a few days usually. Injera in the West will be easier to stomach since it's not full teff.

Mom is Mexican and dad is Ethiopian. Naturally, we eat Mexican food at home. My hair is curly, but not full black person curly.

Well yeah I'm assuming bread in the US wouldn't be produced like that, lol

Rookie mistake user.

>tfw no Sinait Gidey gf

>tfw no big black bf to hand feed you

It's not, which is why Ethiopian Ethiopians think it tastes like shit lol. But this is coming from people who eat just about any meat raw.

Japanese food t b h. It's all really bland and lacks any sort of creativity or depth of flavor. Japanese food relies on having the best ingredients to even be passable.

I'm pretty adventurous but that's a little too much, lol

It's like asking for food poisoning

Yea, the first time I went to Ethiopia my family who lives in the village had a ceremony type thing and sacrificed a lamb. Ended up eating raw tongue, kidney and liver as well. I was pretty dead the next day hey.

that's fucking crazy, I would be so afraid of getting sick

Are you the same guy who makes all those "Ethiopian food" threads?

Nah, I don't really lurk on Veeky Forums much. I saw one of those threads before, but it was far too autistic to post in it lol.

uhm Pad Thai

Britain
and The Netherlands

pleb opinion

Australia's food scene is basically copying our south-east Asian neighbouring countries plus some American fast food shit thrown in. So us.

Brit food sounds terrible. Mostly lard, grease and salt. Disgusting

Also most Scandinavian dishes don't really look appealing

>Brit food sounds terrible. Mostly lard, grease and salt. Disgusting
I think you mean American

Is there even such a thing as American cuisine? Sounds like most of it is just a mishmash of different dishes from different cultures

...

South America has very distinct cuisine with a long history.
There's a lot of Spanish influence now due to colonization and the Jesuit missionaries.

OH BOY HERE WE GO AGAIN

Please take your shit tier taste buds out of the gene pool.

>Is there even such a thing as American cuisine?
Don't you know? . . .Americans invented everything, they will point to Wikipedia pages to prove it.

>Sounds like most of it is just a mishmash of different dishes from different cultures
So just like every single other cuisine ever.

Probably native australian.
>Mmm Ambassador you are really spoiling us with these dried roots and air .

Underrated post of the century.

More like Pad wet dog. Seriously.

>he doesn't like surstromming

pleb

Afghan food is good tho

But muh craft beer.

africa

Dutch food is bland, ugly, confused and unreasonably high in calories.
