mr noodles with frozen veggies in it

Cup noodaru. Not a fan of the packets.

Grilled Beef · Kimchi · Scallions · Sesame Seeds · Nori

...

I like to add a hard boiled egg, garlic powder, and canned sardines to my ramen

A nice restaurant miso tonkotsu. Went out for some with a friend the other day because they'd never had restaurant ramen, I already want to go back for more.

I tried the Sapporo Ichiban miso flavor today, ended up tasting like a very slightly spicy chicken ramen. I also have a Nissin that's supposed to be miso pork but it'll probably turn out about the same.

Cheapest i can find at the local asian market, with vegetable bouillon, half a table spoon of soy sauce and mixed frozen vegetables and beans.
Some habanero sauce if i am feeling like having something a bit more spicy.

Still better than the "instant ramen" shit.

So let me just say that that kind of shit ramen bought for 10 cents at your local walmart is not real ramen. If you want real ramen, go out and get it yourself, or make your own. I tend to use Rice Vermicelli noodles, (I know it's for noodle bowls but fuck you) and a miso stock. I add peppers, bean sprouts, scallions, chicken or beef, depending, and some seaweed. I also add a little bit of chili paste or soy sauce, and fish sauce or a little chicken or beef stock, depending on what kind of flavor I want. If you want, you can go full Vietnamese and add fish sauce, beef, kimchi, scallions, and seaweed, and top that shit all off with some bean sprouts. It may be a bit involved, but shit tastes good.

That sounds good, I tend to only put on pepper flakes and scramble my egg instead of boiling it.
I've been thinking about going hardcore with making ramen. I live near a farm market that has all that. I might stop their and consider your recommendation.

Black Tantan-men

Is there just not a lot of noodles in this or what?? Just seems like some broth with some assorted goodies in there. Are the noodles underneath that stuff or are there any at all?

yeah there's definitely noodles you probably just can't see them because of the darkness of the broth
Tantan-men is literally the type of noodle

also possible that its Tsuke-men

which is when the broth and noodles are served separately and you dip the noodles yourself

this style is preferred in hotter seasons because the noodles are generally cooler

None because I don't want to have a heart attack

The best packaged ramen I've had is Nissin black garlic (I think it has a pork broth). The black garlic oil adds a nice flavor.

why would it do that? is it really salty or something?

Simple carbs low in fiber (like pasta) sharply raise blood sugar, leading to inflammation of blood vessels, resulting in bad LDL cholesterol build up, increasing chances of a heart attack.

Salt doesn't do any of that shit

my greatest secret, i buy this by the case

Well yeah if you eat it everyday for every meal. Ramen is always good but you can only eat it in moderation.

this basically

As a matter a fact, I actually had some good quality ramen over at Mitsuwa near New York. It was my first time trying it and wow it definitely blew me away.

Cup ramen is much better since you just add hot water.

This, but I don't use the seasoning. I put in some low sodium chili seasoning, or some low sodium old bay, and then dump on sriracha.

I never even realized they had Mitsuwa in New York it surprises me a little

their ramen is definitely solid but still not the cream of the crop

that's really fucking expensive for a bowl of noodles

Eating plastic noodles....

>dump on sriracha
hate to break it to you but sriracha is like 99 percent salt

80 mg/tsp isn't a ton

Yea $8.55 is pricey, but given respect for where it is and the quality for the ramen and other foods there, it definitely makes up for it.

I like my ramen to stay on the store shelves, thanks.

lol, especially cup ramen.

...

maruchan mostly beef but when I do chicken I drop like 3-4 eggs in a flat pan with the noddles and let it mix together and season the egg and noodles with the packet and add hotsauce or whatever I feel like. Not exactly ritzy but fuck.

Ivan Ramen

Nissin is life

best brand i know and where i live they're also the cheapest

Awww yiss. I used to eat them raw with the seasoning packet as a kid.

Haha, I did the same too. I would actually eat it as a lunch in school and kids would look at me like, da fuck.

Fuck em, they jelly cuz your eating quailty food, and there chuming on horse shit.

ha, true.

>Bought a shit ton of Ramen after moving out
>Too bitch nigga to try any recipes

What's your go to meat for your ramen fix?

I get this brand.

I like beef, oriental, shrimp, picante chicken and chilli.

Especially those last two.

Wai Wai and Mi Goreng. I like eating my ramen with garlic, shrimp, boiled eggs and chopped spring onions.
For tactical reasons you can safely eat wai wai raw.

Laksa

also known as the best noodles in the world

Other than that - Mi Sedap, Indomie, Sarimi, Korean spicy ramyeon. mi ABC

Protip: Any Instant noodles with a picture of a lime on the packet means it's good stuff

Top Ramen is REALLY salty.

Yea but you can't beat $1.50 sales at Walmart for a pack of 12.

Hard Routine much ?

use half the water and half the seasoning packet for better results

t. guy who has made lots of ramen

the black nongshim one with yellow letters and a spoonful of miso on the front.

Please don't give medical advice if you aren't a medical professional.

Sapporo Ichiban

nongshim senpai
this flavor is their best imo

ah yeah, i get them from an asian market for cheap

This one is my favourite. Then I add a bunch of shit to it. Really whatever I have.

Either nongshim or sapporo ichiban. But imo, for bowl noodle, the straight up hot & spicy flavor is best. I prefer nongshims ramyun though.

>meat flavor is printed on every pack
>literally to stupid to understand chicken goes in the chicken and beef in the beef

Save this picture and learn something

Wow that looks banging.
Oh dam I haven't seen this in a long time.

I just tryed omelette mode.
So fucking good.

I'm about to go add milk to mines and see how it is

Sharing my favorite ramen dish that I found.

how to melt cheese -the definitive guide

>set a stop watch for exactly 90 seconds
>get all of the noodles out, NO LIQUID
>okay now transfer all of the liquid
>okay now transfer all of the liquid back, NO LIQUID REMAINING
>throw all of the flavorful stuff in the trash

they should just sticky this shitty video for all the autistic weebs on Veeky Forums

Well this

I skipped the autistic steps, but I do like the cook time for the noodles + eggs

You know what, I'll make it with the milk and post it here with time stamp.

Thats actually awesome, do it OP.

Bitchin, alrighty, I have two bags, milk, green onions, and two eggs. I'm gonna have my friend to join me into to this goodness.

go, go, go

Cool he's here, let makes some bangin ramen.

I'm gonna cut up the green onions first.

Dump the ramen in the water.

Do it...

Boiling for a bit, time to add the eggs and scramble it.

Clean your stove.

fuck yeaa, time to add the milk.

does anyone else besides me add the seasoning packets to the water before boiling the noodles?

i like the flavour it imparts into the noodles

No, not in boiling water, after.

Too late, ramen is already done.

I used to add the packet to the water and bring it to a boil, put the noodles in and cook them, then drain them and put cheese on them.

not him but if that's 'dirty' to you then you'd probably have a heart attack walking into my apartment you weird neat freak manbaby

Yes, me

good taste, muchachos

the noodles are usually the last thing i add, honestly

How is it?
You...eat from there.... just post it.

Great minds....

you eat off your stove? what the fuck is wrong with you. eat off a plate on a table like a regular person

i'm not some retard who eats food that slipped out of the pan, that's gross

Not if your stove is clean.
It is workplace for making food IT MUST BE CLEAN!!!!

It came out a bit creamy, but overall, I was still delicious as hell. The eggs fucks the green onions in a way that is amazing to my tongue.
.

Cool I will try it.

You got too, really give the ramen a kick of flavor and texture.

Try omelette mode it is great.
I did it today. OMG.

Hell yea, i'll definitely do it next time im in the mood for some ramen

anyone have any suggestions for what to do with Mr. Noodles? i hate eating them as actual instant noodles and would rather just turn it into some sort of side dish

only reason i have them is because our ex-roommate who we kicked out due to going psychotic left them

this

yeah? i'd think the Mr. Noodles noodles would be too thick and throw off the texture, no?

You can't go wrong with this dude.

I don't think I would make that much a different, well you do it like how I did.

No just follow pic.
