Enough memes. Does Chicago style taste any different to normal pizza? What's the bread like? Is it crunchy or soft?

the bread/dough is actually the part that is the most different compared to other pizzas (aside from how it's arranged with sauce on top). it's a flaky, buttery dough. I don't know enough about food to tell you how it's made.

it was dissapointing. i traveled like 3 hours to a small town that had a guy that lived in 'go and made it as legit as it could.

its a boring food. the fun experience of the pizza is gimped here because you have a huge tomato pie thats messy and that you need to eat with a fork and a knife. its the same experience as eating a cake piece. also it didnt taste like pizza, but like chese dough and tomato, ingredients didnt blend together.

it got cold halfway.

I had this wonderful British interpretation of a Bean 'go 'za at a pub recently, highly recommended

I went to the best Za place in town, and they gave me a bread roll and a few tomatos for $80 and told me its was a deconstructed classic chicago deep dish 'za. It was absolutley delicious and superior to every "pizza" Ive had previously.

Deep Dish is truly ahead of the curve when it comes ot culinary masterpieces.
