A family member made something similar for a family gathering and called it Lasagna. We called BS and continue to bring it up at family events saying how excited we were for Lasagna but it never came. It totally pisses the "chef" off. I think hes going to go postal if we bring it up again.

If you look at the hot plate, it's one of the dual zone dealies where you can use just the smaller inner area if you're using a smaller piece of cookware. Jack the genius is only heating the center of the pan.
