probably none what-so-ever, since he isn't actually going to build a wall

Either greedy fucks will take a cut in their profits or prices will go up to accommodate for the lack of slave labour.

Ditto for the cost of raw ingredients until those positions are automated much like servers after the $15 an hour push.

It's still worth it for the good of your people though.

probably none. maybe make produce more expensive and make it harder to find people to work in kitchens.

I would guess it would make it more expensive, but that's what I think the wall would do to pretty much everything (combined with many of his other protectionist policies and how unpredictable he is perceived).

Bizarre, isn't it? Trump explicitly said he only mentions the wall to keep people from being bored, yet everyone still eats it up like it's serious.

I could think of a couple:

Southern California, Arizona and Texas may lose some little Mexican hole-in-the-wall food joints / Food Trucks due to deporting illegals, but it would be a negligible loss as there's many legal owners who supply Mexican food.

We'll see a decrease in illegal waiters, washers and prep cooks in the food industry due to deportation meaning more jobs available for high school and post-high school citizens looking for entry level jobs to earn a little money.

More Mom & Pop restaurants will open due to an improved flat tax rate. They can afford to open a small place, and if enough restaurants open we can expect to see a free market food industry thrive all over America. More jobs, better food due to competition, and since everyone is in a free-range frenzy we can expect to see more farms getting business which they desperately need.

This.

maybe after the illegals are deported back breaking kitchen slave work will be worth more than $8/hr

>$8/hr

More like $10 since you socialists want more and more.

yeah god forbid that line cook working 40 hours a week can pay his jew landlords rent without 5 roommates AND buy groceries

>make my food for dirt cheap slave and how dare you demand a wage worth your work!!!!

Go die in a ditch faggot

$15.

actually, $12.50 since hillary is the nominee now and she says that reasonable enough.

Job security for my white ass.

>people still think trump will ever be president

Also, not Veeky Forums.

Socio and political economics of the food industry.

It's very Veeky Forums.

Restaurant industry is a joke so hopefully it kills it

Is pic OC?

Made my day, either way.

Anyone else notice how Trump's main attack focus is still Bernie Sanders, despite the fact that the guy hasn't had a ghost of a chance in the past 5 months?

I wonder what that's about.

He's been attacking shill dog ever since Bernie lost 5 months ago

Also, you can't make an argument for fruit pickers given how heavily subsidized the agriculture industry already is.

I wanna believe. I'm indifferent about the wall myself, but making another country pay for it is rather instigative. I'm sure there's a better way to do that.

the wall is not going to be built, which makes him a liar

also, nobody knows how he is going to do about economy since he never tells anyone about his policies and yet morons go vote for him

holy shit

If you tell people, in your political rallies while running for president, that you are going to build a wall - then you are making a political promise

Of fucking course people believe he will build a wall - but it won't happen because he is lying - which would be enough to make any sane voter not vote for him - I mean, Crooked Hillary is lying and you shouldn't vote for her because of it? But no, it's okay for Trump to lie, noone holds him responsible for anything and then expects him to be responsible for all of USA and also, let's be honest, the world

Mexico flat out refuses to address the issue of mass illegal immigration and yet receives massive amounts in foreign aid

all Trump would need to do is lower this amount

>t.cuck

why do so many people think he wouldn't build a wall or that it would be impossible to build?
