A friend of mines dad used to grow and harvest shiitakes. He was hospitalized with a huge rash that covered everything but his legs. He's fine though, not sure about its effects on internal organs but you better wash your fucking hands.

You'll be fine. Shiitake is not too potent. But in the future you should always cook every mushroom so you don't overload your liver with hydrazines. Mushrooms don't overcook:
