Go for my $5 ham and swiss sandwich from Subway

>go for my $5 ham and swiss sandwich from Subway
>"that'll be 6.75 plus tax"

Say what you will about Jared, but he would have never allowed this.

Jared was innocent

You're either lying or leaving out info, one, food isn't taxed, though soda is, two, even if it was it sure as hell isn't a 15% tax

I live in Canada. Fast food is taxed.

Also I never said 15%.

>, food isn't taxed
Literally what

>food isn't taxed

Prepared food is, you crazy faggot.

Fast food purchases usually get hit with sales tax. Sometimes grocery store ingredients aren't.

>Go to subway
>Some fat guy in a fedora is infront of me, ordering a sandwich
>He makes sure to order the most sopping wet sandwich possible, saying he wants it "Just like a 'go 'za."
>After he gets his sandwich he tries taking it to the bathroom but slips on the greasy drippings and falls flat on his face with his nose bleeding everywhere

The discrepancy he's bitching about is that despite being marketed as 5 dollar footlongs once upon a time, most subways no longer have any large sandwiches that cheap.

>food isn't taxed

yea, and cops don't magdump someone holding a rock either.

Are you intentionally trying to harm this board for some reason? Are you upset by something?

I can't understand why anyone would make up a cringe story cringier than the story itself, bait or not. Please refrain from posting.

I agree
Veeky Forums is the only comfy board

'go 'za memes are literally killing every joke. Would of been a lolsofunny greentext without the meme

2/10

>food isn't taxed

>would of

Get the sub of the day, $3 for a sick inch.

I knew that guy would make it one day.

I used to work at subway.

It's ungodly. Ive never eaten it since. probably never again.

McDonald's is cleaner

Whether food is taxed and which foods are taxed depends on your area.

I work at my local Safeway Deli. For our sandwich bar cold sandwiches are tax free and hot sandwiches get taxed.

>toothless redneck comes in to get our special sandwich of the month
>comes with chips and drink and is overall cheaper
>rings up as hot by default
>get mad when they can't pay with ebt

>order foot long sandwich
>why is "$6.89" is the price?
>plus tax for "$7.44"
>but it's a $5 foot long
>didn't even order extra...
>1.5x price is charged to me

how the fuck is this legal

no food tax in Alabama
you buy something that's 4.99 and you get a penny back
It always hurts my brain

>"Just like a 'go 'za."

What did he mean by this

>go to Subway
>ask for Buffalo Chicken
>they don't serve it anymore at any of the ones nearby
did Jared like his kids spicy or something, where the fuck did it go

>go to subway
>sandwich artist's name is sephiroth

>not wanting to kill all cromagnens

>not saying keep the tip to your qt cash registrar slags
also this is why your state budget is brook and poor

jared did nothing wrong

They got rid of 5 dollar footlong at so,e point and it's still stuck in my head that they have them

>go to subway
>remember I live in Florida and we have Publix
>get a Publix sub instead
Florida has its perks sometimes
