Best I can do is "thump"

Never mind, not an adjective...

Maybe flitteringly

morose

That would be an adverb, if it's even a real word.

icky
banal
bland
esoteric

onomatopoeic

sonorous

Good ones

Ballistic

Weird.

moist

A word that sounds like what it depicts is an onomatopoeia.

resonant
linguistic
wordy
vocal
textual
literary

short

Short is the one.

Soft

meta-acoustic

bretty good

Onomatopoeias are named BECAUSE of the sound.

hissy
snappish
blah

Superfluous

G ahahaha 20/10

effervescent

insurmountable

All wrong. The word first has to be an descriptor for sound, with onomatopoic qualities on top of that
These are closer but don't quite hit the mark. Effervescent and sonorous are pretty good

Lush/ it's so soft and full sound, no hard vocals
Dazzling/ idk why desu

Melodic
Dull
Raspy
Muffled

cacophony and aesthetic

Clucky

Floppy, sloppy, slippery. Must be many more, I reckon.

Just thought of three more: slick, raspy, crunchy.

Euphonious
Sussurrous

I'm no prescriptivist, but I don't think you can just slap an 'o' into 'susurrus' and have it be an adjective.

LOUD

Squishy

>i'm not racist, but

loooooooooooong

Bubbly.

Crisp

Niggers

Tinny and woody

I think it was Saussure who suggested that all words come from an archaic version of their own sound.

What about words for things that don't make a sound?

Everything makes a sound if you smash it hard enough. :3

Like the letters "gl" seem to intrinsically mean something shiny, hence all the words that start with gl and mean shiny: glitter, gleam, glamorous, glisten, glow?

It was thumpy.

Or there was a thumpiness about it.

it was onomatopoeiaish....

>Intrinsically mean

no. Don't encourage people to waste more lives and years of research on that shit.

murmury
soughing
rooning
sizzling
screechy
hushed
prating
whacking
whirring
squidgy

Probably the hard vowel sound followed by the z, which is a bold-sounding consonant
