What do you guys think about /r/books?

What do you guys think about /r/books?

I feel like they have higher, meme free, content on lower quality books.

Do you browse any other literature forums?

Why would you ever want higher, meme free content?

>browsing bullshit forums
>instead of actually reading

Because jerking off with other dilettantes is fun but not educational

literally nothing wrong with reddit imho

Stop posting that fucking image

>meme free

Stopped reading there

Memes are the DNA of the soul

A world without memes is a world of beasts

...

>meme free

fucking plebs

are memes your only raison d'ĂȘtre?

Not just mine, but all the world's, whether they know it or no

The discussion is generally shit, though, and the bad part is the redditors don't even realise. Veeky Forums, I assume, is pretty self-aware when it comes to shitty meme and bait threads. Like no one thinks the daily John Green hatejerk is good.

I literally just found this on the front page. I really don't think this qualifies as 'good discussion', even though everyone in the thread is being courteous and non shiposting, the discussion is pretty vapid (and so are the books being discussed.)

With Veeky Forums, I think it's the other way around. Awfully vitriolic discussion that actually touches on more interesting ideas than 'this book was really addicting'.

I realize now. Thank you, my family.

lol you actually went on reddit wtf lmao hahah

Time spent on ANY internet forum is a complete waste.

There's no point in arguing one type of waste is any better than another.

I have an account too, it's entirely baneposting and shitposting

triggering Veeky Forums

>r/books
>not r/literature

you fucked up OP

ebin :)

found reddit. time for a shower lol

I totally don't have a real account on which I post unironically
