Marcus Tulius Top Kekerus Cicero

Really though, ancient philosophy btfo

I really sort of live my life in the ways Walker Percy and Viktor Frankl wrote of so I guess Kierkegaard would be my favorite, he's what inspired their beliefs most.

>Liking Cicero
I bet you don't even praise Marcus Licinius Crassus every day plebeian

Comin' through.

Shestov or Cioran.

me

...

Camus, Heidegger, Sartre(before "existencialism is a humanism"

Love me some Rousseau. My favorite philosophical writer is Adorno though. The motherfucker just hates and condemns everything and he does it so convincingly and thoroughly. It's a sick self-interested kind of validation I feel when I read him but damn do I love it.

I just started reading Emile, so far it seems like it's gonna be awesome

I second Rousseau OP

Foucault, Bourdieu, Latour.

Any of you read Julie, or the New Heloise

Just got a copy of it and it is amazing- best Rousseau I've ever read, and this is coming from someone who loved Confessions, Emile and Inequality of Man.

Ludwig Wittgenstein, Aristotle
