It's a book which discusses age old shit that isn't even relevant to Hitler's points, and whether you are a pol fag or not, it's a book of rants.

The first bit is okay, it talks about his life story, growing up, his dreams, motivations, etc. There are hints of hate and stuff as to be expected.

But it goes completely batshit insane into a mindless spew of rage once you get past his life story. That I was not expecting at all.

I gave it the best benefit of the doubt that I possibly could, I guess if you really want to learn more about Hitler and you really want to see what type of rhetoric was being spewed at that time directly from him in his earliest stages, then sure, maybe it might be worth reading, but I had the same motivation as well and didn't find it that helpful, besides realizing just how insane it was.

It is written as a series of almost mindless rants once you get past the beginning. It's not even entertaining.

If you want to learn more about Hitler it is probably better to pickup a proper historical book, I really wasn't expecting to be underwhelmed.

If you can get a free copy, I'd recommend reading it then stopping once you run into what I am talking about, unless you are still interested in continuing to read.

Maybe it's that I have an abridged version, but I didn't fully understand Hitler's motives for hating Jews and communism. Commies I guess I can understand, because they weren't as fanatically nationalistic as he was, but Jews I don't really get. I once asked about it here and got some interesting answers, but I feel I should read a bit more to truly understand his motives.

except he is a lying shit when it comes to that. he glosses over his problems with his father (not kind of shit you should put in your propaganda book) and all his failures are brushed of with "I could have done it if I really applied myself, I just did not want to" or "their methods just did not fit my advanced mind" which just makes him sound like a giant faggot

not really, he outlines all the techniques he uses while going "its evil when jews do it but its ok when I do it" it even made me feel like he did not give a fuck about the jews ,he just needed a scapegoat and propriety to nationalize
