When there are weird choices I usually take that as a sign you at least have a developed taste. I really wish I knew as much about music and film as I do about literature, because I kind of just listen to whatever.

It's better to stick with a few media and be cultured rather than knowing little about everything. I've dropped video games, TV series and movies long ago. I prefer to read, listen to music and appreciate paintings.

Yeah, I try to watch as little tv and movies as I can, unless it's more of a social thing or it's a rare occasion where I'm really interested in a film. I used to spend far too much time playing Counter Strike until last month, when I decided to stop. Overall it's been a pretty positive change. Do you have any music recommendations from what I have up there? It's Grimes- Halfaxa and Visions, then Passion Pit - Chunk of Change. Grimes is eh, but I really like her as a person.

You should try to open your mind and listen to something else, whether it is hip hop, blues, rock, jazz or whatever.
