>not just stacking your books from floor to ceiling

That's so messy, though.

I used to double shelve my books. Two rows to a shelf. It was a bit of task finding specific books but it helped until I got a bigger shelf

Buy a new shelf

like an artist! XD

they are brilliant. i have six of them

>got a second bookshelf in February
>"finally I have a bunch of spare room to work with"
>out of shelf space again by may

I too am aware of this sensation

>live in apartment
>books stacked from floor to ceiling in my room
>books all over everything in my room
>no books in my living room or anywhere else
>people who go into my bedroom see all my paintings, writings, and books and think I'm some artist
>tfw I'm just a nobody bibliophile hoarder with dreams of being an author

you shouldn't be able to see the floor from all the books

I was thinking about getting this one:

What brand are yours?

>not placing the books individually along the floor from wall to wall forming a new layer of flooring with books
I'm disappointed user. Think big.

Does anyone know a good bookshelf model I can buy online that has space for textbooks? I need at least 1 foot spacing between each shelf. I'm looking for a 5 or 6 shelf bookcase.

yes that's pretty similar
i got mine from Habitat (UK decorating/furniture etc company) a few years ago. they don't sell them any more but they are still available in a few places. they are/were called "sapien". googling it looks like the container store still stocks them.

post pics?

Nice, thanks.
