Social psychology is such an embarrassment. Adorno's writings (I've read them!) are anti-capitalist, but most of his personal thinking centres on how GOOD old culture was -- classical music and old literature and old virtues -- and how terrible modern media "degeneracy" is. He's the stuffiest, least revolutionary Marxist that ever lived. His driving psychological yearning is for the cultured, aristocractic Vienna of his childhood.

He hates capitalism not because he wants to deluge us with bluehair transwymyn but because he thinks it fucked our culture and produces exactly that kind of degeneracy that will stop us ever achieving our full potential.

One of the arguments against prison is that it puts someone who may have committed a fairly minor crime in with a bunch of hardened criminals, effectively training them to be "better" criminals. As things stand recidivism is really high, though maybe this isn't prison itself.

Corporal punishment, by contrast, has a more immediate "don't do that you fucker" effect, and as long as you avoid amputation or other severe measures, it probably sucks less than a few years of prison. I remember there was a school that paddled boys who misbehaved but was unwilling to do so to girls, so they just got detention. They tended to believe they got the harsher deal, though.

You should really approach the posts on /pol/ more critically. I can't count how many times there's some "immigrant bites woman's face off!" post, and everyone believes it for 300 posts before someone shows up and points out the pics were from something unrelated that happened ten years ago.

And the funny thing is, the people who lie in /pol/ aren't even outsiders trying to sabotage the movement. It's some retarded neckbeard who thinks lies can help a cause.
