Tell me, why is he wrong again?
He looks like Ben Stiller
The examples of he gives, where torture is used for the good and happen to save a life, completely miss the point.
They are an exception to the rule, and so torture may work; but not always.
It is therefore a gamble, yet one he believes to be the best in life-or-death situations. That he can't conceive of anything better is a testament to his own shoddy imagination, not that of those who oppose it.

Assuming arbitrary axioms are universal and objective.
Harris has said dozens of things on dozens of topics.
His main argument however is that belief in god is dangerous in the apocalyptic sense in the age of weapons of mass destruction, and for that reason we need to see the end of faith. And he's completely correct on that main point.
oh man i love ben stiller

Hey, Stalin. How are you doing today?
He's wrong about some things and right about some things, and some of the things he's wrong about piss people off for some reason.
He isn't.
He's brilliant. Although he never studied philosophy, politics, or theology, his writings, fueled by his scientific, logical, and rational mind, have revolutionized all three fields. I'm convinced anyone studying the humanities is wasting their time figuring out what scientists learned centuries ago.
is his thinking really this trivial?
>trivial?
Found the literature/English major.
Right. He certainly spends a lot of time on controversial topics and his detractors misquote and misunderstand him like it's their job
Granted Sam tends to think its best to let everyone know how he feels about everything... Like the fact he likes Hillary Clinton. Yeah Sam I might like some of your books but you really made me hate you when you said you like Hillary
I'm sorry, David.
this
his position isn't that torture always works, ironically, it's you who has missed the point completely
1. He's Jewish.
2. He's atheist.
3. He's a warmonger.
I'm an undergraduate research assistant in my univeristy's philosophy department and I can tell you from experience that he is very well-respected in the field. I've often heard professors gushing about his works and they seem to hold him in higher esteem than many prominent continental philosphers.
0/10. At least *try* to make it plausible, asshat.
