Books aren't considered old if they were printed after 1700
The rarest book I own, other than The Legacy of Autism in a Tundra, would be a book by a local author that has 0 ratings on goodreads. Actually it has one 5 star review.

just to add, I'm Irish with no German ancestry so I'm under no illusions thinking that my Grandad was a secret nazi (or was he!?) I highly doubt the book is rare at all but I do think the nazi emblem is kinda cool on the cover.
How much for it?
I have 10 shekles...
I have a copy of Ovid's Verwandlungen from 1763. It was goldleaf and lithographs and colored ink. In- meh, condition, I guess, but pretty good for the fact that it's over 250 years old. But it's probably not worth more than, say 150,-
I have a couple other books- an adventure book Kreuz und Quer durch Indien from 1884. It's tattered to fuck, so I got it for 10 bucks, but I managed to mostly patch up the pealing cover with clear nail polish.
I got a lot of weird stuff, actually.
