Someone explain this/the science behind it to me please

someone explain this/the science behind it to me please

no flux is going through the square. for some reason it stops before going inside.
the top formula is calculating the flux.
it's a pun with "no fucks given"
it's cringeworthy

Saying, "cringeworthy," is cringeworthy, kid.

*teleports behind you*
pshh, nothing personnel, kid.

Inserting, commas after, every other, word, is, kind, of cringeworthy, you know.

that's actually dumb as fuck , the field lines shouldnt stop on the volume on which im assuming the flux is calculated .

i'm going to share your deviantart with the rest of the school

Looks to me as though the flux in = flux out so that means the divergence is 0, not the flux.

Electrons move to the left and holes appear in the right canceling the field inside

>no clearly labeled vector field
>integral is taken over an open/unspecified surface S
>field lines terminate for no reason
>unnecessary question mark
>presumes that an educated person would drink coffee from it
No dielectric is that good, and nowhere does it imply these are Electric field lines

I give it 0/10

Hello mr undergrad

hi high school summerfag

>be nitpicking for sake of thread
>this guy calls you an undergrad
Woe is me.

Where is the charge?

in your bum bum

The dot product is zero cause of the parallel nature of the diagram given

Every other answer is a wrong autistic manbaby.

*orthogonal

wew

*levitates off the ground*
.....What did you say?

>Everyone assuming it's Maxwells equations

I dunno, but I'm guess from the illustration and the punch line it has to do with the fact there are no flux distortions resulting from the passage through the cube (no flux), and the joke is that no flux given sounds like no fucks given.
I'm probably wrong but who cares this is Veeky Forums.

>Everyone
>Hyperbole = Fallacy
Fuck you, you pseudo-intellectual.
You don't even know how logic works, so you know NOTHING.

Fuck you Kevin

Phi = flux
q = charge
dA = unit area
q dot dA = those lines (kind of)
Integrating over all unit areas, the number of flux lines going into the cube equal the number going out, so the total flux = 0.

This is Gauss's law by the way.

HAHAHA DUDE I JUST FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE LMAO!!!!!!

flux in equals flux out so the total flux through the surface is zero.

With electricity, phi, the Greek symbol to the left, is meant to represent flux associated with a current. The integral shown calculates the flux of an electromagnetic system. Since it is equivalent to 0, that means there is 0 flux, as a system where there is no EM field created would have.

It's a dumbed down physics pun meant to be a play on the term "no fucks given". Anyone who says it's not funny simply either doesn't get it, or has a sense of humor that's drier than my ex's fun bits.
