If you could ask a SpaceX employee anything what would it be?

Why didn't you get into NASA?

How does it feel to be working for a meme?

I would just scream the word "meme" at them

If you showed these
to Elon, do you think he would cry?

Why outer space and not the current space?

Why don't we save our world before terraforming Mars?
please stop playing too much Spore, it doesn't work the way you think it does

He's a a big guy

for mars

Solid

Since nerdy chicks are all fucking depraved freaks in bed, are the female employees in constant Office Fuck Buddy rotation?

Are there one or two Super Spergs who get left out of the mix?

Do you get left out of the mix?

Only with viagra

>female employees
They're engineers m8

Do you guys scout talent on Veeky Forums?

How dank of a meme would I have to create for you guys to contact me with an offer?

>scouting talent in Veeky Forums

>How much is the pay ?

They do it for free.

anon1: bla bla something interesting
elon musk: what is your email user?
anon2: [email protected] :)

Do any cool shit in Kerbal?

I actually wonder this. I feel like they wouldnt though

Nothing.

The mars thing will find its reality check soon enough, and the rest is boring to me.

Why is your main product marketing?

>actually launch GEO comm sats for cheaper then anything else
>develop real reusability on your own dime
>booked solid, faster then they can make rockets
>no lets focus on marketing

They are just the first rocket company who hav decent PR. rockets and space are cool as fuck, but stagnation and government influence are a chilling factor, and PR (and public support!) has been very poor.

Just look at ULA, scrambling to build a good outreach program now. Bruno tweeting etc.

SpaceX's PR department do know what they are doing, thats for sure. Hell, i'l masturbate over anything rocket-y, but only SpaceX and to some degree Blue Origin is really making an effort, with their livecasts (cameras on the fucking payload fairing omg wtf) and animations. Hoping to see ULA, Boeing and so on get in on it too, at some point

>first rocket company who hav decent PR

This.

I used to follow NASA a lot, in the news and on related TV programs, but they almost totally dropped off the radar. Now the only place I can get info about them is online, usually only on their website. There was a huge gap between falling off the world and getting their website up to speed. Publicized stuff are just blips on the screen once in a while.

Now I keep seeing SpaceX everywhere. Hell, when there is a launch people are spamming the youtube links in various chats of games I play.

Not to mention they are up on the latest trends like Pokemon GO (that cringe-worthy mention at the end of the launch feed). Of course Juno has LEGOs on board, but that just a nod to Gen X and Baby Boomers more than anything else.

>Not to mention they are up on the latest trends like Pokemon GO
jesus
I mean it's good that they want to pull in more people, but jesus

Jesus indeed.

>hip young bearded white guys and a hip young token black woman
Why do PR people have to look so smarmy and shit? For fuck's sake.

That's not particularly cringy.

During NASA's Juno coverage it was the same. Only the people in front of the camera doing interviews were Asian, black, female, etc. Everyone else was old, white, and male. I think there was like 2 women in the entire mission control center actually doing legit jobs for NASA.

For a basement dweller I suppose not.

What's with that image?
The 5 women on the left look pretty legit. At least the 2 older ones. And they are white. And there's a blonde one.

There's 2 women in that image and the blonde is a guy.

Oh yeah, blonde's a guy. There's still 4 women in the image though

Nice ad hominem, faggot.

Nice ad hominem, basement dweller.

Only 2 of them are doing anything for the mission.

WHY NOT VENUS?
Lets go VENUS kk

here's a better idea

7.6 years in cruise my lord... why the devil would you do that

it's a big system

This, to be honest.

The scale of planeteering efforts to make either one habitable are equally ridiculous. You'd need to set up a huge asteroid impact to restart the magnetosphere in Mars' case or to strip parts of the atmosphere in the case of Venus.

Might as well go to the planet that's closer and has nicer gravity.

Well mars is essentially a vacuum, why would you want to live there.
You will be forever stuck in a tin can habitats
Forever worried about blow outs that instantly kill you

Think about the risk of terrorism from "refugees" there....

It's depressing really. ESA/Arianespace document every launch but no one gives a fuck because they aren't meme enough

>Forever worried about blow outs that instantly kill you
What about building underground. By the time we can get humans there safely, we could probably be able to get heavy machinery too

Instead of acidic rain, 200 deg celcius and storms on Venus? Making me choose between two polished turds here, user

Floating cloud cities, gives us great conditions

which brings us back to

hm?
The pressure inside a venusian floating city & outside would be the same
So it's totally a different situation.

Ariane streams are boring as hell, and you don't even get to see a rocket explode on a barge. European space is shit tier.

"How will you feel when Mars never happens and you've just sacrificed your life to give a billionaire a profitable launch company?"

Whats the chance like a sperglord like me with a average 3.0ish gpa and only a 2 year college degree to get in to spacex?

I mean I got experience with Model rockets and some minor experience working around aircraft, but I figure Spacex only hires Indian and Asian kids with 4.0s from MIT and Harvard

>asking this on Veeky Forums

There is nothing at all wrong with making food and serving it to customers. Don't let people tell you otherwise.

>Jupiter icy moon

i read that as juicy meme

I can tell you that they get their jolly rocked off in sex clubs or finding some Chad at a bar. Female engineers don't have to try hard for sex. They don't fuck in their work place. One common thing about them is that they hate male engineers for being dweebs who can't talk to women. Its fucking Veeky Forums in physical form when you're around male engineers. I fucked a lot of female engineers and I can tell they're always making up for lost time.

Why isn't the manned Dragon flying already?

Where is the SpaceX spacesuit?

Space x is as fake as NASA

Elton musk is a satanic freemason

So this just popped up on SpaceX's Youtube.

I'll just leave it here.

ULA and Arianespace's employees on mandatory anti-depressant treatment.

damn why is this thread so shit?

Can I see the firmware for the falcon?

>ice penetrating radar
Fucking fund it. I want to know what's under all those moons ice in space already. I swear we should have already done this shit. I'd have taken this over Juno

Well, if you're not dead in 14 years, you just might. :^)

do you realize that you're working for a glorified hack whose meme companies wouldn't exist if not for ridiculous government subsidies?

also, I heard working for space X sucks. They work you to the bone and the pay is shit. Even getting in isn't easy - you have to write some material mechanics, physics, and math tests.

do you realize that your idealism for space travel is being taken advantage of by a company that has shit benefits, shit pay, shit hours, and massive turnover?

dunno if it's true or not, but I heard space-x doesn't even do 401k matching. that's comically terrible for any sort of engineering or technical job.

>Even getting in isn't easy - you have to write some material mechanics, physics, and math tests.

You're kidding? I thought you just applied and were automatically given a job.

There has been enough upheaval of Europa's ice that there should be evidence of life, locked in the ice. It'd be cool as shit to have a lander on Europa that can send back ice core samples to Earth.

Can you get me a job at SpaceX?

>reddragon-mars-879x485.jpg
When was that photo taken? Where can I read something about SpaceX's Mars missions successes so far?

>artist's conception

Great accomplishment then. Deserves 5 repetitive shit threads every day.

Why don't you let everyone help out across the world, by implementing a crowdfunded Mars Mission?

10 million people donating $1000 is $10billion to add to your budget...

I think there'd be MORE than 10 million people in the world prepared to donate that much toward going to Mars...

>ULA and Arianespace's employees on mandatory anti-depressant treatment.

Lol France will never let Arianespace go out of business, they'll subsidise free launches if necessary.

All you have to do is write a check to them. No need for a 3rd party crowdfunding thing.

>10 million people donating $1000

Imagine the amount of denial it must take an Arianespace engineer, right now, to believe he's technologically relevant.
How do you convince yourself you're the best, when you're just doing vanilla rockets, and the competition is pushing the realm of what's possible ever further every fucking time.

.t space memer that never passed control systems 1

I'm just looking forward to the reveal of the Big Fucking Rocket.

For Jupiter

Instead of terraforming Mars, why don't we just modify humans to thrive in that environment :^)
