you have the tunnel on there twice

I have a lot of things there twice, it doesn't matter. This is just my wishlist, not my shopping cart. It may take me a while to get all of these, if I even decide I want all of them.

all of them are, except for the sam harris and palaniukh. there's better atheist rhetoric around, especially if you're open to reading plato. (inb4 ur an idiot plato wasn't an atheist, i didn't say he was)

Burroughs

Bataille

Nietzsche

Plato

Cioran

Joyce

Pynchon

Wallace

De Lautreamont

Ligotti

T. S. Eliot

Mishima

Blake

McCarthy

These are the ones I'd pick first, but they're all pretty good honestly. Nice pick with Cilio, great album.

>there's better atheist rhetoric around,
I'm open to suggestions.

You should have read most of these before coming here. You also need to step up your wishlist game.

...

If I had to pick three:
Collected Poems of TS Eliot
Collected Stories of Lydia Davis
Confessions of a Mask

why did you remove Giovanni's Room?

startlingly close to my own taste boi

10/10 would buy

What the fuck? How did you know I removed it from the list? I didn't remove it, I just put it into wishlist because I forgot what it was.

charming reaction. here
how did you screencap this whole thing by the way?

lol. yes I used full screen capture, it's a google chrome app. then I just crop the picture in paint.

...

...

Collected Stories of Lydia Davis is GOAT.

GET UNTIMELY MEDITATIONS BY NIETZSCHE AS YOUR FIRST READ

Get :
Gass
Kafka
Nabokov
Joyce
Pynchon
Oxford anthologies
Lautreamont (even if it must be difficult to find a good translation)
Sade
Plato (read the philo google doc to know how to get into it)
Pound
Eliot
Mishima
Faulkner
Blake

The rest is mostly shit.

I have the Norton postmodern poetry anthology and enjoy it a lot. Would anybody recommend the fiction anthology?

>Lautreamont (even if it must be difficult to find a good translation)
>De Lautreamont
Which translation is the best? I was going to get the Alexis Lykiard translation.

Yes, of course.

Nice list, lots of duplicates btw.

Reccing Sontag & Althusser. Don't get that translation of Republic though, get Bloom or Reeve.

As far as the fiction goes, definitely get the Faulkner & Joyce.

Just ordered collected stories of lydia davis. I had this recommended to me a couple other times, I just downloaded a mobi of it and I read one story and it was a head fuck. Some story about a paranoid woman called The Fears of Mrs Orlando that left me feeling stoned. Looking forward to reading more of it.

>Joyce
I read that you have to really read a lot about this story in preparation to get anything out of it, is that true? If it wasn't I probably would have ordered it on day one because it seems like it has a pretty solid cult following.
