Tfw too intellectual to read fiction
>Too intellectual for fun
FTFY
See, that's how you think it works, but in actuality you've simply been overcome by a sort of conceit.
>outing yourself as a pseud
>tfw too intellectual to post images
>fiction
Reading fiction can inspire/change your life more than non-fiction can
>reading
>tfw too intelectual too read
I know too much and i dont want to read anything in case i found that in reality i know nothing. Im happy feeling that im better than everyone else.
I just find no reason to read it anymore because why learn about something that isn't about the real world
> tfw too intellectual to have friends
I only speak to my family. And I do it as laconically as possible. All my classmates are too dumb for me to comprehend.
I'm too intellectual for feels.
>too intellectual to have fun
>have to be an over serious pedantic fuck all the time
>making this stupid distinction between fiction and non-fiction
Jesus Christ

shouldn't there be a gorilla in the picture in this meme? i've seen it on Veeky Forums several times
I don't read fiction not because I think fiction literature is beneath me, I just prefer other mediums for fiction, but it's not like you can really learn anything serious from documentaries
STEMcucks get out
iktfb
reading fiction seems like a waste of time unless it's absolutely classical literature with moral overtones
if you were an intellectual you would know how to have fun with fiction.
>fiction/non-fiction dichotomy
Fiction is about ideas dumbass, the events don't have to be real.
Your life will be as "fake" as fiction in 1000 years.
Everything is meaningless, but that's why creating abstract and spontaneous stuff like fiction or art is fun.
Nothing have value, you give it to the things you like most.
I simply can't lose myself in fiction anymore so I see no reason to read it. When I was young I would practically go out of body but that hasn't happened in a very long time.
you read camus, don't you
Nope. I don't like to read other peoples way of seeing life (philosophers). It's fine to share opinions and stuff, but I prefer to just think by myself.
I'm not a literate person. I'm the dude that spend too much time drawing (and thinking in the process) and I know that even if I'm sure about the things that I think, in the end I'm clueless just like everyone else.
I'm enjoying the transition that I'm having from nothing, to something, to nothing again.
What you mean to say is
>tfw I have a childlike, high-school-dropout perspective on fiction where I misconstrue it as all being the works of Tom Clancy or pseudo-pornographic romance novels whose only audience is sexually abandoned house wives
If you somehow think all fiction is easily digestible, empty pulp, then you're a dunce.
I don't get this. I consider myself intellectual and read 95% fiction. Made up stuff makes me think more than real stuff.
It seems like you're not intellectual enough to know what 'fiction' means and why it is an essential feature in art
thats just like your opinion man
>I'm not a literate person. I'm the dude that spend
Clearly
Post some good non-fiction then, fagtron!
Too intellectual to post >tfw
>there are people on Veeky Forums RIGHT NOW who think they read """"literauture"""" because they read exclusively nonfiction
philosophy majors should have migrated to Veeky Forums a long time ago
