nah. read butcher's crossing- lets talk about that when youre done

no

thanks for asking me in particular

Just bought it waiting for it to ship. Not sure if I'll go for that next or Against the day

sure, it's been a while since I've read it but one scene that comes to mind is when the main character (whatever the fuck his name is) sees the outline of his father-in-law sitting out on his porch.

DUDE CONSUMERISM LMAO

White noise or underworld first?

gonna read it after I finish the one I'm currently reading

I liked the latter more and read it faster.

Mao II is probably the best "intro" to Delillo, if you need one.

Great, I already own Underworld so that's where I'll start with him, thanks for the reply.

Has anyone read Zero K? What are your thoughts?

I liked it.
A mix of White Noise and Point Omega.
Protagonist seems autistic.

The scene where he hears his daughter moan the name of a car in her sleep still haunts me.

There's a meme by pseudos going around saying the beginning is the best part and that's absolutely false.

White Noise is super depressing, imo. GR-tier depressing.

probably one of my favorite parts honestly. i thought it was a funny scene since he thought it was Death himself but it turned out it was just his father-in-law.

yeah, it was sorta depressing

Seconded

You've got to start DeLillo with his best book.

Sure but something I'd like to encourage you and others to do is read more DeLillo. His bibliography is wrongly under-explored seeing as stuff like Players and Ratner's Star are god tier.

I liked it, although the main character was kind of painful to imagine.

absolute madman

Read this, it has a section on White Noise
