The library

Bookstores. I'm not a degenerate.

kickass saved me $300 on school books

Barnes and nobles + desert industries + goodwill + libgen for Kindle

anyone have experience with thriftbooks.com? How are they?

>torrenting your books
>ever

2nd hand bookstores

>Deseret industries
Where in UT
Lit meetup

amazon
local bookstore
library

Thriftbooks is my favorite. Usually very cheap and you get to know which edition you are getting.

I go to one in LA, there's like 3 or 4 around here. Deseret does sound like a good spot for a meet up though, if any socalfags would actually go

Second hand copies can be easily found/bought for less than five dollars. Unless you somehow managed to get super powers, I don't understand why I should download 25 Go worth of books I'll never, ever open.

mobilism.org
gen.lib.rus.ec

kickass.la/full/

I had no idea they were outside of UT
Does lit have meet ups?

#bookz, but that was over a year ago. I've taken to buying books but honestly it gets a bit draining, so I might switch back.

Soulseek

Library, Amazon, sometimes a book store

I'm a huge proponent of copyright infringement / free media, but at the end of the day I prefer physical copies of books

...

I said that. You didn't say it.

Bookzz, piratebay, through friends, etc.
Sometimes i buy the books i really like

Damn, when did it go down?

There are shit loads of other places to get books. No idea where to get films anymore though.

kickass.cd/
It has been back i belive

en.booksee.org/

has become my primary source. I also downloaded a bunch of books a while back from kat.cr so I have a library.

Get into a private tracker.

>illegal activity is cool

badasses

>baiting on Veeky Forums is cool

Bibliotik lol

>because something is illegal it automatically makes it wrong

i had ptp for a while, but, my account went inactive. Tried to recover but they've dodged me.
I have what.cd, that hasn't helped.
Oh, there was a more obscure one I was on, but have since forgotten all the details of it.

Sometimes just writing "book".epub work or follow the tutorial for #bookz

Private torrents.
Just pay 15$ for months

how do you read those ebooks of yours
my eyes can't handle phone or computer screens
also i like reading while laying down for maximum comfy

aren't you reading this shit right now on your computer?

yes but reading a book is different

no it's not different, people read all kinds of shit all a day on their computers and phones and say that their eyes can't handle books, just kys

ereaders don't exist

thanks homie this is great

books are fine
but books on computer screen are way too straining for my eyes

just look at this

putin torrents

>not just getting literally any ebook reader program for your computer and setting something like a dark background and a slightly lighter color for the letters

idiots will always find excuses, I've been reading for years exclusively on my phone and computer and I have 0 problems

reddit has tons of links for torrenting textbooks. google "reddit textbooks torrents"

I think that means I won, if I'm reading the rules correctly.

Do you write for The New Yorker?

nothing beats a real book

do none of you know about libgen?...

that's what i'm thinking lol

tried this irc thing today and it's not as good imo

#bookz has everything libgen does. Libgen is for the beginner.
slsk, irc, wherever else. But a lot of good stuff you can't get online anyway.

The Book Depository.

Amazon usually, bibliotik if I dont wanna pay.

I purchase content.

I have no problem with that.

Buy them and get some off private trackers.

How come it's so hard to find a lot of books from torrent sites, even private ones?

I mean, you can easily find basically any film in existence, but it can be hard to find even a fairly popular canonical authors works.

If you like you can replace "wrong" with "dumb."

Entitlement is my favorite word.

I'm guessing it's not yours, too.

Soulseek is also not bad

>How come it's so hard to find a lot of books

There's a lot more books than there are films, and a lot more books come out per year than films. I'd imagine this is at least partially related to the amount of effort required to put out a film (hundreds of people working, investing millions of $$$) compared to writing and publishing a book.

It also has to do with the size of the audience. A lot more people are into films than books, so you have a bigger fanbase working to pirate a smaller amount of items.

go to gay porn

I would do gay porn but I got fat. And I'm too self-conscious.

Otherwise, if I would've at least charged to have sex and have been an escort, I would be rich.

I gave it away for free, and I didn't get much back in return.

just literally google *movie name* torrent...if it isn't a popular release from the last 18 months you'll get legit hits
