Posting here cuz the doctors i went to don't know shit... Can this be anything but cancer if I have had swollen ass salivary glands + a fuckload of lymphnodes everywhere for over 3 months now?

>Posting here cuz the doctors i went to don't know shit

Great idea

>swollen ass salivary glands + a fuckload of lymphnodes
Tonsilitis?

for over 3 months i can have tonsilitis? they were swollen for a bit but I think it went away now?

and i went to specialists and they just don't know. one said an allergy so I ate only plain chicken for 2 weeks and it didn't change. then they put me on antibiotics and tested me for every disease and virus and shit, and nothing came up.

Have u been to the dentist recently

my teeth are fucked up yea but how can u even tell from that picture?

I cant. But what if it's a tooth/gum infection

cuz i don't see anything and have no pain? lol. i also ran antibiotics for over 3 weeks and it didn't change, wouldn't that have helped with an infection

are you allergic to chicken

uhh somehow i doubt it

Are the nodes painful/tender?

Damn OP, you really want this to be cancer, huh?

not really. if i press hard it hurts but i have to press pretty hard

Have you had an ultrasound to see if you have salivary stones? You should also have sialoendoscopy where they look into the salivary gland with a tiny camera.

isn't it basically impossible for me to have all 6 glands with stones or blockages starting at the exact same day? i think it has to be something systemic.

because i was completely fine on june 8th, and on june 9th it was completely fucked up.

Did the doctors biopsy anything or take blood tests?

no biopsy but i was tested for basically every virus and disease like hiv, sjogrens, mono, everything. and nothing came up

Most likely lymphadenitis

Rarely from cancer

would that also make the salivary glands swollen though. they are for sure salivary glands on those spots, because those specific ones change when i eat something. it's all 6 too, parotid submandibular and sublingual

Looks like goiter to me.

Yes, the submandibular nodes fall under acute lymphadenitis of face head and neck

Could be any of these too.

Acute Sinusitis
Chronic Sinusitis
Otitis Media
Conjunctivitis
Tinea Capitis
Pharyngitis
Atypical Mycobacterial Infection
Cat-Scratch Disease

any idea what could possibly cause it, i have ran my fucking mind through everything over these past 3 months and tried everything, and nothing works. as i said i also ran antibiotics for over 3 weeks now (still on them) and it's not doing shit.

Infection of the salivary glands can cause lymphadenitis as a complication. Does your saliva smell bad? Is it painful during/after meals? Foul breath?

Some kind of infection most likely.

Maybe staph or strep. They should've at least taken a throat culture.

Are you taking anti-bacterials? Like penicillin?

What antiobiotics are you on?

it sometimes hurts for like 5-10 seconds as i start eating but that's it. and if it was a bacterial infection wouldn't running antibiotics for almost a month now have helped?

amox-clav 875mg every 12 hours, for almost a month now

i also got tested for those and it came back negative. that was after i started antibiotics though which could apparently skew the result

I came here specifically to post this. Have your dentist check this out. You may be fighting something in your mouth.

If the swelling is aggressive and continues I would go to urgent care.

>wouldn't running antibiotics for almost a month now have helped?

Depends on the given bacteria. Also it can be a fungus, but that's unlikely unless you have AIDS or diabetes.

not really aggressive, hasn't changed much at all in 3 months.
ill check this out but i doubt it since i have 0 pain and don't see anything at all, for 3 months straight
