my fucking sides

There is no more matural selection sonce 99'99999% of humans have kids. If there is no more natural selection there wont be more changes in our body. Maybe we'll be weakers since weak people are breeding too. More problems of visions etc. In the other hand there will be cerjury to fix it so meh.

*Natural
*since

Evolution will make anime real

That assumes we won't have genetic screening as part of a healthcare plan. This will likely become a thing within our lifetimes.

yep, that would be artificial selection though, but sounds cool.

>he fell for the society is completely isolated from the natural environment meme
don't forget where society gets its resources from.

hello hitler

>allowing parents to choose whether they want a child born with genetic disease is a bad thing
If you agree to raise every invalid born, we might agree. Otherwise, you're just plain wrong forcing parents to raise a child who will require care for the rest their lives (which will mostly be painful for both parties).

>How humans will look in 1000 years

>99'99999% of humans have kids
You cannot be this retarded

obviously I was inflating a bit the numbers to make my point clearer. My point's still right though.

>I don't want my child to be born with a genetic disease
>eww it's black skin
>eww it's brown hair
>eww it's gay
>eww it has a penis

So who gets to determine what constitutes a genetic disease? Before you call strawman, do remember that sickle cell anemia is a thing, and black people are predisposed to the disease.

So is it ok to "fix" that up for them? Or for them to abort if it's confirmed? I don't think 80% of black fetuses potentially getting genetically modified would go over too well politically.

The concept is nice, but it walks dangerously close to eugenics, which in itself is flawed for the same reasons: who gets to choose?

I think the closest we will get to genetically modifying fetuses is a procedure to remove extra chromosomes to potentially treat downs and similar cases. At the same time this could open the door to being able to select the sex of your baby, which personally I don't agree with. Such a choice would without a doubt directly effect the fertility rates of the next generation. Considering how unstable human Economics can be, I do not think humans should be able to play with nature so freely.

Imagine a genetic equivalent to the 2008 economic crisis. The implications of such an event could theoretically see countries losing entire generations of a population. How could a civilization recover from that?

wow we are going to have stars instead of genitals evolution is truly incredible

that's some deviantart-tier "art" why the hell did forbes make an article about it

No, your whole argument depends on that number being correct, you dipshit.

Go to your local elementary school and see if you can still enroll. You clearly missed a few things.

No it's not

>natural selection is no more
Right because you don't have to be fit for having a job and some amount of responsibility in our society to successfully reproduce
