As a matter of fact, (I think) I fell in love with her because I was trying to get over my highschool love. Or it was the other way around, I think I purposefully forgot the reality to blur my shame. But even though I am socially inept, I did have alternatives throughout all the years. We live in different cities, and I would forget about her when neither of us is visiting the other, but when she is near me I can hardly think of anyone or anything else.
