Most people (on sites like these, but in general i guess) don't like to read 'literature' or exercise a lot, they just like to play video games and meme. Hence lit/fit < tv/mu/a < pol/v. It's the same thing on reddit. /r/The_Donald(and /r/HillaryforPrison, /r/EnoughTrumpSpam, /r/politics) and /r/gaming(and other gaming subs like /r/leagueoflegends, /r/GlobalOffensive, /r/Overwatch, and /r/dota2) make up a lot of top posts. The rest of /r/all is usually memes/other funny pics or jokes from other subs centered around that sort of thing.
Occasionally an /r/books 'reading [genre fiction tho] makes me better than you' circlejerk/anti-circlejerk hits the fp.
