I mean, I'm about as left wing as anyone I know, but we currently have tumblirina morons thinking that borders should be none-existent and black people can't be racist. I'd like to say those people are going to get their bubble popped but they're wealthy enough that it will probably never happen. When global warming starts getting bad, and it's already started with the droughts and heat waves, the refugee problem Europe's currently facing will look benign. America and Canada are isolated enough that it won't effect them that much, but do you really think all those growing nationalist movements in Europe will?

The economy in South America is tanking right now, 300% inflation under neoliberal Macri, Brazil is barely holding together long enough to be a punchline for the rest of the world's jokes, and this is gong to have some backlash down the road. Especially against the United States, I don't think Obama's decision to shake Macri's hand after pulling the carpet out from under the Argentinian peso was too popular with anyone, the the US has that kinda history down there.

Meanwhile I'm sure China and Japan will have no problem solving their refugee problem with unmarked holes in the ground. As more and more countries start doing this, the western world will start wondering whether or not it isn't the easiest solution. It's not even a left/right thing, I'm sure Hillary would be rounding Jews into concentration camps herself if she thought it would get their endorsement.
