OP here and 50 pages into the book and Malala writes about how Women are oppressed, then reveals that a female pm is elected, without any context as to why public opinion changed.

Being anything but a pragmatist is stupid in this day and age. Your ironically silly face does nothing to refute that. Signing yourself off to an ideology is nothing but the remnants of a loyalty to tribe and a need to serve.

I want to get a headstart on this Shakespeare course so I'm going to read Golding's translation of Metamorphoses before Wednesday morning.

OP again, only 60 pages in but here's my basic outline if anyone cares(I know nobody does)
-What is the author’s main thesis/argument?
That women are not treated equally to men.
-How do the themes of the book relate to modern society?
Today, terrorism plagues Muslim and western societies.
-How do the themes and issues in this book reflect and/or affect your life as a part of the global community?
Terrorism affects my life negatively as there is an ever-present(subconscious) fear of being attacked and the issue that women should be given access to education is reflected in my life through my mother, who went to university and was able to get a job that didn't involve cooking or cleaning.
