I'm ashamedly enthralled by sports events.

have you guys ever turned your monitor-cam on when you read/watch this shit? Watching yourself, watch/read it. I fucking dare you to do it

That's pretty gay, why would you want me to watch myself jack off?

no, just you watching yourself.

I admit I'm gay because [spoiker]i imagine myself as the qt furry shota trap[/spoiler]
Looking at myself would make me feel bad because I'm a large, hairy, hulking person

Thanks for the recommendations!

I was actually thinking about reading this, what's so great about it?

lol cohen is that literally you. there is no way a human being likes witz that much.

I'm the dude that originally posted the image a couple replies up.
I'm going to try and give you my opinions.
It's extremely stylish.
It felt very philosophically knowledgeable but always showed instead of told.
It captures celebrity like no other.
It captures isolation like no other.
It's extremely bleak but shows the inner beauty that can be built in such an environment.
All of the French history in it feels very confident and comfortable and fluid even though it was written in the 1980s
It's fun, all of the characters have their place and each do their jobs well.
It's a fairy tell.

It was Kurt Cobain and Marilyn Manson's favorite book if that means anything to you. Might just make you want to read it less. I don't think the book is for everyone but I think for certain people they won't find anything quite as affirmating.
I don't really recommend listening to other people's reviews. Just give it a shot. Wait until you get to the mountain scene. When you're done with that if you still don't like it just drop it.

interesting, I actually considered picking it up because a friend of mine and Cobain really liked it, it also seems to be up my alley. If you're really the only user talking about that book here I saw you mention it in some other thread before, if I see you around again I'll tell my thoughts on it.

please do
