ITT: books where every character is unlikable

your diary desu

I wanna say Loving by Henry Green, but by the end you end up missing everyone in it anyhow, so I'm conflicted.

Great book, though, strangely unforgettable once you've read it.

Retard heathcliff is my favorite character of any novel.

>gets fucked over by situations out of control
>bitch cucks him
>runs away to get fuckin jacked and loaded and cultured
>comes back and fuckin makes them all die from sheer force of hatred

I also named my cat after him :3 rate cat

Your cat has excellent camouflage skills. 8/10 would try to pet.

I hated every single person in Macbeth, even the witches. Lord of the Flies as well.

heathcliff is immensely likeable

>pure isabella has the cutest crush ever on him
>catherine mocks her and tells him
>says he'll break her fingers off if she ever fucks with him

what's not to like, he's awesome

this cover is ugly as sin t.b.h.

He's amazing
>accidentally catches arch nemesis' baby as it gets dropped from balcony
>"I wish I didn't catch your baby"

Fuckin rekt

...

Oryx and Crake

a song of ice and fire

That blonde incestuous dude is pretty cool.

I read one of the Atwood novels to please a friend. It was quite something.

Pleasant cat, nice face, 8/10 but I like mine more

Post it then, jew

The Sun Also Rises

What about the abused girl, and the merc brother of og maddadam.

Yeah, same with Cathy really, you can't dislike someone who is that true to themselves IMO

I like Crake, and Jimmy, and Oryx really

Are you sure you didn't name your cat after the other Heathcliff?

A mere coincidence

I don't get the cartoon
is he wearing the gravy boat on his head?
if so, why?
and who the fuck writes gravy on the side of their gravy boat?
what kind of fuckery is this?

Pic related

No, it's a helmet. Heathcliff owns a lot of helmets.

Don't feel bad about not understanding Heathcliff. It is one of the most challenging texts of our times, and each strip presents a myriad of interpretive problems that Heathcliffians are wrestling with to this very day. If you would like to deepen your understanding of Heathcliff, you should join our research group on /co/.

holy fuck
I never realized Heathcliff was so avant garde
so resistant to easy interpretation
my mind is blown

It's something to behold

daily talkback threads every morning on /co/

bonfire of the vanities

the sun also rises

I actually agree.

Except that one servant who saw through all their bullshit

my favorite book

Infinite Jest (not even memeing)
Dune messiah
High Fidelity
Naked Lunch

Rabbit Run fits this nicely

>trusting le unreliable narrator who poisoned catherine

top jej

A confederacy of dances. Insufferable

>dunces
Really? Not even Jones? He was the best character in that whole book.

Lady Brett is great though

in high fidelity the original gf was cool, and the musician hippie lady

>Infinite Jest
Darkness tho
>Naked Lunch
AJ, man, how can you dislike AJ

The only religious book that expects you to see the avatar of God as an asshole. The main characters for whom pulls so many strings for are spineless cowards. Also, the author inserts himself in the story as the grandfather of the protagonists and a rapist.
