He uses i instead of j for the imaginary unit

>he uses i instead of j for the imaginary unit

Fucking layman man.

>there are people on Veeky Forums who use superscript and subscript
fucking children

j is used only in EE.
Are you retard OP?

>he doesn't realize what OP was implying
mayhaps you are the retard

>he uses a+bi like high school kid or a+bj like homo engineer instead of ordered pair notation

>he spells "imaginary" with a j

>not using exponential form

>that guy who uses I as both imaginary number and index

>not using cis(x) form to trigger sjws

>not defining your own functions

>Not doing general relativity

Indices are my life.

a+ib form for sum operation
Eulero form for the other stuff

This desu senpai

>fucking Ameridiot

Stop it

>he hasn't the mathematics behind the naming of the imaginary unit

There's no advantage of a+bi over (a,b) regarding addition

>he calls them "imaginary" numbers instead of "lateral" numbers

fucking tards propagating the notion that the numbers are somehow more or less "imaginary" than the reals

Why do you even need to talk about imaginary numbers, and not just complex numbers? There's hardly any situation when you need only complex numbers with zero real part.
Also, there's nothing wrong about brainlets thinking imaginary numbers are less real than reals, because they'll never use them outside the school, and the name makes no difference for people who will actually use them.

EE's are the meme engineers

I mean these people legitimately believe in TLT

He doesn't use [math]r1, x\hat\imath, y\hat\jmath, z\hat k[/math]

... as basis for 3D vector space

in EE its written as a+jb

>not using [math]\hat e_0,\hat e_1,\hat e_2,\hat e_3,\dots[/math]
