enigma, the most advanced crypting machine ever created
Why did they build that? It has to be one of the most impractical weapons that has ever been built.
They fell for the Nazi superscience meme
If that's the best encryption machine ever, then nazi engineers were shit
This is HO 2-29, war endend before it came out. it was supposed to be the first plane to carry 1 tons of bombs through 1000 kms
It was built to destroy French "Ligne Maginot", also one single munition's weight is 7.1 tons and it could pass through 7 meters of reinforced concrete, 1 meter of acier and 30 meters of dirt.
plz read about this before posting, it had more than 1.59 x 10^20 combinations and they changed it each day at midnight
Also they couldn't fire more than 14 times a day (see pic)
It was supposed to be a siege engine, not an actual battle weapon.
Instead of losing hundreds of soldiers cleaning up every district of a town, you just destroy it, the enemy wasn't supposed to be able to move or attack when it is used.
SunGun
This one was purely theory but they were thinking about it, a giant mirror into space to reflect sun's light into cities to burn it down
and yet it was defeated by a gay man. It got to the point of being so broken that the Brits were able to read messages before Hitler did.

RSA is way better
It was built to perpetrate the holocaust. One shot could kill an estimated 500,000 jews. Never forget the 6 million.
Gay man who actually created modern computing
Meme but in WW2 some guy had the idea of making Aircraft carriers out of ice
>want to deathray some uppity city to cinders
>has to burn a path across half the planet to get there
How about Nazi era engineering?
This is the Bugatti Model 100, a racing plane designed by Bugatti himself.
It was never finished as France fell early in the war. The plane was disassembled and hidden from the Nazis
It has two contra-rotating propellers, and the obvious reverse-swept wings and v-tail.
A replica was made in 2011, and on it's first test flight raced at 200 km/h
This is the I-400 submersible aircraft carrier.
It was the largest submarine of it's time, and remained that way until the nuclear ballistic missile submarines of the 1960s
forgot the image

>EVER CREATED
hahahahahahahaha
Give me any nazi invention and I will show you one that existed years before the nazis existed.
if by "nazi" you mean in Germany from 1933-1945, what about the turbojet powered aircraft, assault rifle, cruise- and ballistic missile?
Wasn't that Japanese though, even the plane in that pic has the Rising Sun on it
maybe he meant axis instead
Auschwitz
Chlorine trifluoride
>How about Nazi era engineering?
I like the whole era in military tech, not just the Nazi superweapons
>thread about nazi engineering
>not posting the actual wunderwaffe
>not posting Nazi space station on the dark side of the moon
