Teacher Stories

Tell me about the best or worst teacher you have ever had Veeky Forums

All my teachers through secondary school just showed us the live action adaptation of books on the tv instead of us reading it

I've had a teacher which would literally turn his back to you and walk away while you were asking him a question.
And this wasn't only just once.

>Faborite/best teacher compliments writing style towards end of semester
>Get a little flustered by all the praise
>One day teacher does it again for the practice essays
>Teacher compliments them both after I read them aloud
>Says rest of class should take pictures of them for a solid guide
>Sit there while half the class takes a pic if my paper
>Feel smug for rest of semester

We really are wired to enjoy praise

>teacher asks if she could show my writing to the rest of the class because I "clearly understood the assignment and the purpose of the writing"
>agree obv, i think she means her other section
>next class she whips it out and starts having the kids analyze it
>they're all complaining about the length (it was over the minimum requirement) and wondering why they're reading this
>usually an active participant; not saying anything
>obv my work

ya p. sure i stopped participating entirely after that one

One time my teacher had the mathematicians write all the equations they knew on this one big blackboard then he stood in front of it before class started. And when everyone came in they were like, "no way! this guy must be some kind of math fiend or something."

It was literally blowing people's minds. This one guy dropped his coke and spilled it everywhere and this girl almost sat down on another girl's lap cause she was looking at the board so hard. It was crazy.

I've went to 11 schools, so I've had a lot of good teachers. A lot of bad ones too. Off the top of my head, I had an Italian teacher who was related to a famous architect who built something in Argentina. He was an odd one, he would demand that all students got up when he entered the room and again when he left. This one time I had a doctor's note when I was sick, so I told him I couldn't get up. He insisted, I sighed, he threw a chair in my direction.

I also had some lovely teachers who would pay attention to each and every student, and who would teach so well that I remember their classes to this day.

Had a teacher that would smash the student's head against the podium until their nose bled if they did a question wrong on a homework male of course and he would shout at the girls too

But that was another age another continent

My philosophy teacher was an ex-vicar.
He was kicked out of the church for having too
many (extra-marital) relationships with his
parishioners. He would ramble tangentially in
every lesson. But he was fucking great.

Had a teacher that would take out a fucking broadsword and knight us if we got an A in his class

I miss middle school

I had a teacher who'd give us straight A's, on the condition that we never submitted any of the assignments.

God I miss Žižek.

>at psychology teacher
>Gorgeous hair
>adorable facial features
>thick because milf but fit because she's also track coach
>voice of a southern succubus
>also the sweetest human being alive
>gets red in the face when someone in class says "butt" and the like
>103 A+ attractive
>everyone in class thinks so
>I fantasize about her in class
>paying too much attention to booty to focus on studies
>she tells me she'll work with me personally to get me back on track
>This is one of my fantasies
I thought it was enough to just be in her class , her presence, but she's managed to make school a thousand times better than I thought. If I'm very subtle I can flirt with her and you can tell she got what you meant when her face gets flushed, it is the cutest thing imaginable.
I'm really dreading the day school goes out, lads.

I can't take appreciation sincerely
I don't even like getting gifts for christmas

>take freshman literature
>weird professor comes in the first class
>says he will teach us medieval English lit. instead of the assigned syllabus
>assigns an essay about Aristotle's conception of topoi on the first week of the term
>???
>class has the highest score in junior English exams
