>inject litre of thc into rat
>rat pops
"well guys we found the LD50"

That's mg per kg, so if the rat weight less than a kg, obviously it'll be less than 666mg. They need to feed it .06% of it mass in THC.

kek

the rats were tripping balls

So three of the drugs we're most told are not safe are the safest drugs period?

Yep.

Really turns the wheels

well, you shouldn't draw that conclusion from this chart alone... but yes

Lost my brother and best friend to nutmeg, nasty stuff

The killing potential is not the only parameter that matters. You should also take care about the addiction and the potential to ruin your life.

LSD and shrooms can induce psychosis. So they are dangerous in a different way.
As for marijuana... its a crime for it to be illegal IMO.

>nutmeg
the fuck?

Is the heroin data from pure diamorphine or street heroin? Also, what about tolerance - I maybe the ratio varies with tolly. I certainly feel like the effects of opioids change with tolerance, so pupil constriction doesn't change as much with tolerance as euphoria.

Nutmeg has a psychoactive substance in it, supposedly it's something like MDMA minus the stimulant effect, or its a deliriative or something. I don't fucking know.

I just know if you eat enough swallow a good bit of nutmeg powder it makes you trip balls maaan.

Google it.

It's obviously going to be pure diamorphine injected into rats with no tolerance.

You think they went out onto the street, bought heroin, built up a tolerance in mice then tested the LD-50?

I would suspect street heroin to be less lethal simply because it's sell concentrated.

>ketamine
lol, enjoy fucking up your brain

it's not technically an addiction, rather a psychological dependency

it's a subtle distinction that has implications for treatment and care

If you want to live like a retard your entire life, go on.

Why are you so stupid?

If you are 80 kg, take 54 g and you are dead.

that's a pile of bullshit and you know it. the psychological dependency on alcohol and nicotine is fucking huge.

You can totally get physiological withdrawal symptoms from weed, if you smoke every day. It's not even close to alcohol or opiates but it's real.

The only distinction is detox before rehab for physical dependance.
All addiction is treated the same way and has the same pathways in the brain. You can be addicted to anything if it's rewarding enough.

Even government-made propaganda admits they're physically safe. Just not mentally.

you're triggering me

>potential to ruin your life.
which is because they're illegal, has nothing to do with the drug
>the addiction
of the three drugs he was talking about, none are significantly addictive. only pot is mildly habit forming

Pot smoker for 10 years, can confirm, am sitting in the airport on standby waiting for an open flight and heavily craving smoke

But the worst I get is a tapping foot. I rate pot 10/10, would become dependent again.

I'm also a BS of Biochem working on my masters if anyone was curious.

yeah i had a shitty pill once that was mdma and ket. fuck that

Sometimes it's hard to tell with some people.

I have a friend who had 4 "joints" before leaving his house on christmas morning. and smoked 4 or more when I met up with him later that day.

He smokes 75% tobacco to weed ratio and smokes with just a roach filter and he tells me he's addicted to weed. Absolute bullshit I bet he never gets high he's just on an asphyxiation/nicotine rush 90% of the time

>which is because they're illegal,
im pretty sure drugs ruin your life for many other reasons than being illegal.

And if you get caught with illegal drugs you deserve the drug charge. It's really easy to hide this stuff and not act like a moron.

feel free to finish reading my post anytime, and maybe the one I was replying to while you're at it
>"of the three drugs he was talking about"

>10 years

How often do you smoke? Based on anecdotal evidence, I'd say that's the real determinant. Most of my friends smoke every day and they seem effectively braindead.

>weed fucks you for a week, and degenerates your brain cells in the long term.
>do you hate fun? Why live without being happy? :(
KEK

I smoke weed erry day and graduated from a top 30 law school and have passed the bar

I think its more about your mindset than anything else with weed. If you smoke enough to know how it affects you, you can compensate since even very high THC concentrations aren't nearly as powerful as a mild amount of booze (in my experience at least). Every long term longitudinal study I've seen shows no long term side effects even with heavy smoking, except for a correlation with mental illness which may or may not be the result of some other factor (i.e., people who are likely to develop mental illnesses may also be likely to smoke pot)

>(i.e., people who are likely to develop mental illnesses may also be likely to smoke pot)
I could definitely see this being true. A lot of people I know smoke it for therapeutic reasons (besides as a painkiller), stress, muscle spasms, depression
