Help

Hey can someone help me with this? Been trying to solve it for an hour, still have no clue.

32+16-20

But why?

Next time use /sqt/ rather than creating an entire thread which will get a handful of posts.

If you move the line it just moves over area. This means that you can find the unknown through finding total area and then just doing basic algebra. To find the total area you just move the line back by averaging the two areas of the quadrants to make them divided equally down the middle, and then repeat with the other known quadrant.
32+20=52/2=26
26+16=42/2=21
This means that if all these lines were straight each quadrant would be 21 cm^2, so multiplr that by 4 to get total area. (Its 84 cm^2) Now we add up all the knowns and remove it from 84.
32+20+16=68
84-68=16

The diagram is not drawn to scale at all.

Wait I fucked up I forgot to change 16 as well
16+32=48/2=24
20+24=44/2=22
The area is actually 88
88-68=20

for me the area is 90,666666664

>cm
Wait I don't get what you fucked up

That is really smart.

I don't get it

Y+R = 20
R+B = 32
G+Y = 16
B+G = ?

Do the rest yourself.

23 cm^2 if drawn to scale
If not drawn to scale then 16 cm^2

Two triangles with the same base and the same height have the same area. So the two red triangles, the two yellow triangles etc all have the same area, as they have the same base and same height. So you get the following system of equations:

red + yellow = 20 cm^2 (1)
red + blue = 32 cm^2 (2)
yellow + green = 16 cm^2 (3)

which is easily solved by (2) + (3) - (1) for green + blue
green + blue = 32 cm^2 + 16 cm^2 - 20 cm^2 = 28 cm^2.

Ohhh because they have the same base and the same height right? Thank you

Scratch that wtf was I thinking
? = 23 cm^2

Fucking asshole burn in hell

give this man a medal

Is it possible to be this fucking retarded?
Find the area from the side you know and subtract the 3 known areas.
