Are we the universe experiencing itself?

Are we the universe experiencing itself?

Of course, what else would we be?

Here's tom with the weather

Is death an illusion?

No.

Alternatively: "you" are a particle in your brain, and when you die "you" still exist, but have no motor function or sensory perception because "you" are not alive. If you are very unfortunate, you will remain conscious, aware of the passage of time but unable to take any action. I-have-no-mouth-but-I-must-scream-type bullshit.
After millions of years of being incorporated into various minerals and non-cognitive tissue in other organisms, you might eventually find your way back into the brain of an organism and assume control of it, but with no memories of your previous life. And then you die.
This cycle obviously would repeat forever until whatever planet you're on / nebula you're in is engulfed by a black hole, which would eventually release you as Hawking radiation just in time for you to witness the heat death of the universe.

Before I was thinking people really ask such dumb questions on Veeky Forums but now I have realized its just some butthurt brainlet that cannot into math so he shitposts these junkie threads 24/7

Go pretend to be smart on facebook with your pseudoscience

Fucking retard

its a phase change, like jumping into cold water.

yes but experiencing it is just electricity so dont make such a big deal about it

jesus fucking christ what the actual fuck is this?

No, we aren't the universe. We are PART of the universe. Don't take the part for the whole.

dude... somehow i doubt this is standard veterinary practice

But user, cow is the universe experiencing itself

is dis sum vr?

that level detail in the simulated screen is so realistic it's trippy

The universe seems so intent on proving my insignificance. The size and scale of things is so incomprehensible, and I am nothing next to that - just a monkey with delusions, a short little life crawling around on the skin of a tiny sphere in the middle of nowhere. But there is one principle of the universe - self-similarity - that makes me feel like I'm part of all of it. That if it weren't for me (and you and us), the universe wouldn't have anyone to shout at, to marvel and quiver at its grandeur. And where do I end, and the outside of me begin? There are some fuzzy edges there when you think about it deeply and in many different ways. Everything that every particle of me does is entangled with everything forever, echoing in the noise of it all.

So I guess this is my long-winded way of saying "yes".

You cant really be aware if you cant make or access memories. Making memories is a function of your brain so no brain = no awareness.

google image search tells me nothing, though it did lead me to a pretty sweet webm of tinkerbell getting thigh-fucked by the caterpillar.

if energy = consciousness

that is not a phase change

This is just Stirner's einzigue except not logically consistant.

there is no such thing as time and space. theres no separation from anything. everything is nothing and nothing is everything.

Read karl fristons free energy principle. One of the most intelligent respected men in neuroscience. And you laugh. Fuck you.

Lambnister we meat again.

Free energy minimization then yes.
