How can ballpoint pens compete?

I'm poor so I use a TWISBI Eco with X-feather Noodler's ink. 7/10, pleasant experience. If I feel up for it I use a Pentel Graphgear 1000 with 0.5 lead, which is also comfy

use pentel pg307, 0.07 (reduce the chances the tip bends)
The twisbi eco is nice. I currently use a pilot kakuno fine nib, black blue ink

Bundoki has the best pictures
I use pic related and an Twsbi Eco but I'd like to replace it with something lighter.

Pilot friction pen

I started exclusively using pens a few years ago, except for exams. About a year ago I got a cheap Jinhao fountain pen. I'm liking it a lot, although switching ink cartridges can get annoying. I'll probably get a pilot metropolitan once I run out of ink cartridges.

I have a fountain pen but you have to store it upright, and if you don't use it for a while it gets dry and takes a while for the ink to come out.

and it burps ink at the worst moments putting a huge blob on ink on my paper.

what's a good fountain pen thats not over $20?

Pilot Metropolitan
present at my local target but not in fountain pen form

i walk to my classes and hope im able to find a writing utensil on the floor by the time i get there desu

Have many pens and inks, but pic related with Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo goes perfectly with it. 10/10 experience

>when you don't find one of these

cool thread, maybe i should get me a good writing utensil some time. With pen i had the problem it was scratching on the paper and in the beginning it was giving out too much ink. with time, it got shitty and the point was bad.

are more expensive pens better and worth it without these problems ?

>smudges when you write with your left hand
and its somehow better than ballpoint??

May I ask how much it costs?

>desu

0.7mm gel zebra pen

A Pilot Metropolitan is cheap and doesn't usually have that problem.
You might've gotten a defective pen or super /csg/ one.

It takes time to dry, wich make a huge difference as lefthand writer ! I can't even write at a descent speed with that

And btw mechanical pencil is best IMHO

As a left handed writer I started underwriting to prevent fountain pen smearing.
It helps with ballpoint ink and pencil too.

so you wirte in a very weird angle .....

Mine isn't exactly like that, but you can see how his arm is hand is below the writing.
I do that so pencil and ink won't smear.
Just realized that his head is on the right of the image.
Pic related is a little more like my writing.

so you write in an even weirder angle ?

that's interesting, maybe I'll consider re-learning alphabet and numerics with a rotation change !
Always wished I could use these beautiful and expensive pens

>fountain pen
Holy fuck you guys are autistic.

I never understood why being autistic is a bad thing

Same. Make sure you have ndless installed so you can run GBA games

Vanishing Point/Capless for something quick.
Metropolitan for everything else.
