>a meta analysis to save the validity of their research that nobody else could replicate
LOL its garbage

>t. jawlet

I propose a study on the relationship between the fWHR of porn stars and whether they do anal. The data set is large and freely available.
Grant money please

set up a kickstarter or patreon then, fagget

Did they consider other metrics also, and conclude that none other had any effect? That would make this interesting.

"Meta analysis"

Is agression supposed to be a good thing? I can see why if you're a dumb athlete that depends on your body, but as a scientist the last thing you want is an aggressive mind.

>meta-analysis

meta-analyses only really work if you have LOTS of studies you can include. it doesn't sound like that's the case at all here.

also, the authors involved here are heavily involved in the small research field that's in the meta-analysis. that's a huge red flag

meta-analyses are notoriously prone to scale tipping, even unintentionally. a good meta-analysis is performed by someone with no direct stake in the outcome of the research or ties to the studies or researchers involved, and even then they must be very careful with how they perform the analysis.

>no mechanism identified
>just found some statistics and obviously, that shit is gospel.

Lol, this is so retarded.

>width to height ratio, a completely genetic based characteristic, can drastically change someone's behaviour.
>race, a completely genetic based characteristic, does not affect anything. Obviously.

Yeah yeah, libtards. Whatever you say.

it's not that hard to hypothesize a possible mechanism

for example, we could hypothesize that whatever hormonal factors lead to increased aggression as an adult may also lead to differences in skeletal development as a child

hair color is genetic based, but that doesnt mean it necessarily effects other things besides your hair

kill yourself, my man

...

Nice double think.

Then why does width to height ratio affect aggressiveness?

>genetics affects personality
>genetics do not affect personality

Pick one and only one, faggot.

Don't you think that facial width-to-height ratio has to do with race? It is in part what defines the fucking skull shape.
Don't act dumb ignoring obvious stuff to make liberals sound wrong. You seem too desperate and again, stupid.

>Don't you think that facial width-to-height ratio has to do with race? It is in part what defines the fucking skull shape.

Then this literally means that race affects behavior and that by the hypothesis of the experiment, blacks are more aggressive than whites from the shape of their skull. Which explains why all their countries are at war and why in our countries all they do is steal. Which is a good reason for why we should enslave them back.

Thank you, libcuck. Your science once again proves blacks to be inferior.

You must be trolling, but I'll reply because there are actual /pol/fags who are reading this and need some education.

>Which explains why all their countries are at war and why in our countries all they do is steal
Mankind, regardless of race, has been at war for as long as it has existed. The decline of wars in the West has been due to economic growth. A lot of said civilized races have been a lot aggressive in the past (scandinavians and asians for example). American blacks are the ones responsible for the high violence rates in America. African blacks have been normal (don't pull the "raping yurop" argument; arabs, which are very related to jews and have had a lot of contributions in mathematics and medicine, have been raping europe too, and I'd argue that it's more than blacks are).

>African blacks have been normal

Yeah. Endless dictatorships and highly corrupted "democracies" is very normal. Of course.

I obviously mean the imigrants, you dumbfuck.

>I want to assess the problems of a group of people
>Lets look only at the members of that group who have gone away from their own culture and merged into our culture.

Are you literally retarded? Why not measure the africans living in africa?

>Are you literally retarded? Why not measure the africans living in africa?
I literally did that. Their wars and subhuman conditions in contrast to the West's development are due to economic factors (also, their culture is shit, but a lot of cultures, even in europe or asia, are too, so that's not really genetic if you plan to say that0.

>The decline of wars in the West has been due to economic growth
bullshit. The economic growth has been due to the decline of wars

USA has profited a lot with the two world wars (and still profits with other wars, so if anything, economic growth can be enhanced by more, not less wars), than it has created the IMF.
Europe has learned the lesson after the wars and used it's knowledge to regrow and thrive.

>Fessler's studies, published over the past two years, have identified a mental mechanism people use to subconsciously gauge threats posed by others.
>The mechanism translates the magnitude of the threat into the same dimensions used by animals to size up their adversaries -- size and strength -- even when these dimensions have no actual connection to the threat.
>Fessler has already published six papers on the subject and has one more in press. Funded by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the work illuminates how people make decisions in situations where violent conflict is a possibility, which could have ramifications for law enforcement, the prison system and the military.

>There's an old system in our brains that's used when we decide whether to be physically aggressive and it's a very efficient shortcut to gauge danger, but it can mislead us," said Colin Holbrook, a postdoctoral fellow in the lab.
>To ensure that the effect wasn't unique to American culture, the team also assessed perceptions of risk-seeking behavior among men on the Fijian island, where one of Fessler's graduate students happened to be conducting research at the time. The team even tested whether there was an actual correlation between height, muscularity and risk-seeking behavior in the U.S., but found none.
>Risk-prone behavior doesn't have a literal connection to size and strength, yet is conceptualized in those terms," Fessler said. "Risk-prone individuals make for dangerous enemies -- if someone isn't worried about getting hurt or dying, he's someone you don't want to mess with."
