7 year itch is the average length of time it takes to break a family that 'love' made. Sure some people stick it out for life, some cut out early but in biological terms, a child of 7 years is more or less 'raised'. This is why the Jesuits have the maxim give me a boy until 6 and I will give you the man. A mother will also throw her husband in front of a bus to save the child. If the husband sticks it out past 7 years he faces a high risk of being cuckolded as the female then seeks to spread her genetics out a bit. Likewise men start looking around for alternative sperm depositories. This entire topic is enormous but the natural world gets shit done and science can explain pretty much everything.
