Get a stool for your kitchenette or go to the common room or w/e. You need to keep food and work areas seperate and you will end up eating less junk as well.

Step 2: Live neatly, don't just plan on cleaning at the end of the day/week/month.

Even if you do eat at your desk you should put dishes and garbage away when you are done. I see evidence of several meals in that photo
