Is there anything we could do to defeat enthropy?

Eventually the universe will run out of hydrogen and helium and star formation will no longer be possible, as the universe keeps expanding it will go dark and life will be all but gone...
Unless we can do something about it. Can you envision any process by which this could be prevented? The only thing i can think of is magically pulling a shiton of H and He out of our asses and shoot it up into space...

Well energy is energy, if we found away to stop expansion and also found away to turn heat energy into mass.

Heat expands mass right?

E=mc^2.

Just divide both sides by c^2 and boom. Now energy is mass. Simple as that. You can thank Einstein for that one.

Some of the greatest minds in human history can't figure this out. An AI might be able to. Veeky Forums will not.

Now mass=Energy/c^2. Yup. That's how equations work.

aliens already done it bruz

I have an idea.

Just did. Where should I publish?

>tmw you realize the universe is nothing but a gaudy casino
just nuke this place already

There is nothing we can do from the inside of the universe.

We as life literally do the best we can about it.

Hope the universe eventually stops expanding and then wait a very long time.

if butt sex can prevent pregnancies then it definitely can prevent heat death on intergalactic scales

well, if my japanese games are to be trusted, then we need a party of 4 to 10 tennagers with FRIENDSHIP and who are VERY SPECIAL. Then they will be able to fight an increasingly difficult variety of monsters until they finally face Chaos, The Father Of Enthropy on a spaceship.

We can't even deal with current issues. You want to expend energy on an issue that is gazillions of years away? Priorities, man.

>VERY SPECIAL

There's likely nothing you can do. Even if we escape the death of our own star, it only prolongs the inevitable. We'll run out of stars eventually. We can try scraping together the interstellar medium, but there's only so much of that. Any sentience left would cluster around the cooling embers of white dwarfs, then neutron stars, before trying to draw power from the Hawking radiation from evaporating black holes. But even that will dry up eventually. Whatever survives that far would be left trying to sap energy from minute differences in the background radiation, slowly forgetting the combined wisdom of trillions of years just to last a little longer on the fading power it can generate. Then one day it's reserves finally run down and it falls asleep, never to wake again.

Cool!

If you spell it right maybe it will go away.
