More books that are similar to the idea of this chart?

This is good, because it awakened all of the blue pilled Keynesians who thought they knew how to optimize the economy.

In calling it "no pill", you are effectively categorizing this into a "pill"

Every novel is going to have an underlying message the reader is persuaded into. It's just how it works.

Hands down, the worst chart I've ever seen. I fucking hate this chart

Ya the 50s and 60s were a real mess, things have gotten so much better after all the liberalization since the 80s

elaborate?

It's just so smug. Like, oh sure, when you've read these 12 books you'll have an overview of human nature, economics and politics. Sure man, you're really so much more informed than all those ideologues out there. Wow man, I'm so impressed you read a book by Foucault and by Hobbes?! But they don't believe the same things at all!! That's just crazy!!!

Meanwhile, everyone else just does this anyone, without needing a hopelessly reductionist chart which gives you a crash course in certain narrow disputes in three vaguely delineated and utterly massive fields of speculation.

Maybe I'm getting too triggered but this kind of thing really pisses me off for some reason

How does Hayeks economics work?

True. This list just takes books from other pill lists, and a few wild cards, throws them together, then proposes to be free of any ideology whatsoever.

Mein Kampf

The world wasn't bluepilled on Keynesian economics in the '50s and '60s dummie it was during the '30s and '40s. The Great Depression wreaked havoc on America and Europe and Keynesian Macroeconomics was seen as the saving grace.
Hayek was the most ardent defender of Classical Economics which is as objective an no-pilled as you can get, even if it was adopted by ideological phonies like Reagan.

What do you suggest then?

His brand of classical liberalism however dose not admit the existence of a state. The state having any hand in economic policy is muh coercion and muh tyranny, so we trust our future and our welfare in the many beneficent hidden hands of the billionaire stratum, muh globalists.

The biggest public infrastructure projects happened post war with national highways, space race, massive R&D subsidies, reconstruction in Europe, etc, etc...
Hayek was not a defender of "classical economics" he was an Austrian, classical economics is Smith/Ricardo and basis its analysis on the labour theory of value

Stop trying to point to yourself saying OOO I'm so smart guys I swear!

I thought 9442 meant, what books do you suggest? And if they didnt, what books do you suggest?

Take the brown pill laddies. *sniff*

I don't suggest any books. There's no such thing as "no pill". As much as I hate the "pill" paradigm, if my interpretation of it is correct, it means some ideology one has chosen to adopt. Well every writer writes from a perspective of some ideology. It is our spontaneous reaction to the world. Therefore, the chart makes no sense fundamentally. If the chart means to become a well read individual who draws on inspirations from multiple sources then read books from multiple sources. Don't stop at liberal economics. Read anarchist socialist works and ancap texts.

this combination of books is absolutely dangerous

>absolutely
Yup.

why?

please explain help.

>starting with Hegel

Now that's some advanced shit.

Probably fucks your brain up with their contradicting ideas.....

lol. maybe you should take the brown pill as a suppository.

nah but hegel's dialectic and logic really does allow texts to be seen in a different light.

The true brown pill is for true wise men who have studied the past philosophies and traced the history of thought to the point at which one is ready to understand, the path of conjoining thought with non-being reveals the nature of reality as constantly becoming towards truth and so on and so on, allowing for a transcendence above the pill paradigm. The negation of everything, constantly dying and regenerating, self-negation, etc. the contradicting ideas allow you to see the truth in the fiction. Every new thought is the death of the last one, spirit lives through dying. It is a very literal thing.

The brown pill is the continual negation of pills.

No offence but these books are pretty fucking pleb, except for Wallerstein (of course).

This.
Shut up with your ignorant misinformation.

lets fix that

This is just dumb.

Holy moly what a pile of dogshit

>The case for Israel

I wonder how that would read.

*pounces on palestine*
"OwO. what's this?"

lol wtf is this... absolutely disgusting.

That's the point, Chariots of the Gods kind of gives it away.

Having a brain unable not able to play with contradicting ideas should lead to a medical interdiction to ever open a book.

Its funny but every time I post it each person seems to have a different book that triggers them. On pol its michael more, on lit its a mix and on Veeky Forums its Menzies.

Im always suprised how no one mentions hubbard

Yeah but you dont have to cram it into a half baked meme ideology.

Israel before 1972 did absolutely nothing wrong.

Except never being able to acquire a right to exist.

From 1900-1948 they bought the land en-masse.

Just because it was absolutely retarded for local sheikhs to sell every worthwhile bit of land to Zionists doesnt mean it was illegitimate, and lets face it, when Jews finally broke away and formed their own state, it was against the British Mandate not a functioning Palestinian State.

Israel is a conniving, awful country and has been for 40 years, but they are not illegitimate.

Surely the "no pill" option is Herodotus, not Thucydides.

Before 1972 they launched an attack and claimed land illegally in the '67 war without provocation.

And no it wasn't preemptive, no one was planning to attack them and even if they were attacked they were so comparatively secure as assessed by the US that it wouldn't have mattered.

The creation of the state of Israel is also immoral and the fact that Britain or the UN were involved is meaningless drivel. If you told anyone this was going to happen no one would have sold any of that land and it's irrelevant because when Israel was created Arabs owned 85% of the land, Jews didn't own the rest - they only owned 7%.
