This might just be the stupidest post I've read in a while. Just because I can't tell you whether it's a good idea to invest in some esoteric startup doesn't mean I can't tell you that if the fed starts printing money like toilet paper, the market won't do very well in the long run. Now, you could argue that climate science isn't as well-read as economics, but saying that not being able to predict a phenomenon at a micro level automatically precludes you from modeling it at a global or macro level is absurd.

No I disagree. Wishful thinking doesn't make things come true. Most climate scientists in the late 20th century were predicting raging hurricanes and tornadoes early in the 21st and they were wrong.

Like horoscopes and the reasons they are popular is simple. Just cover the gamut and you can't go wrong. This is also why global cooling was changed to global warming and more recently climate change. The funny part is now the climate seems more or less stable, they just can't win, except for the carbon taxation schemes that indirectly fund their prophecy machines.

I like a good doom prophecy now and then for entertainment purposes too, the problem with climate science is it has turned into a criminally based mass extortion scam. A religion.

These analogies, casinos and financial systems to the earths climate system are asinine. In fact it highlights the ignorance on matters of scale, complexity and number of variables regarding earths climate. There is no lab or controlled environment equal to the the earth and the solar system it resides in therefore the theory itself, man made climate change, like any religion, is untestable and impossible to prove or disprove.

It gains traction in the same way any religion does, by spooking first adults and then little children into a synthetic man made belief system. Once it has control over its followers it begins siphoning off their precious bodily fluids. In this case, the house is taking a carbon rake the entire earth is the casino.
