Not sure what other board to look on so I'll start here I'm looking for a book i read a while back. I cant remember the title or author, but it was about a girl who gets a disease and becomes paralyzed.
A few points in the book are that she gets to the hospital and demands a milkshake, but the staff refuses until her parents demand she gets one and it makes her feel a bit better Her dad tries to learn an instrument but is terrible at it and they get laughs out of him playing it at the hospital She gets movement in her hand and itches her thigh at some point
